It's kind of funny to see the drive down Church Street past the YMCA, Dairy Isle and NOT see the overpass. I moved to Newark in 1988 so the eveloution of these two towns is pretty amazing. Was hoping you were driving down to where 21st ST. ended. But very cool trip down memory lane.

It is pretty cool seeing this. I am only 22 so this is quiet a bit before my time and I have only lived in Heath since 2004ish. I Live only a few blocks away from the mall it is very interesting to see the difference. The signs down 79 are a hell of a lot cooler then than they are now. Plus it must have been nice to hear awesome music every time you turned the radio on.

Hecks and the old Cinama 4 - and Trains and things right next to it. Rax on the corner (where tim Horton's is now). Didn't remember Odd Lotts on 79 there either. And When did Arrow become Value City? Gas prices 1.68 and 1.70 - they didn't have 1s. I had quit racing and in my second year at Wright State. My mother worked at Glick's, my cousin at Sun TV, a friend of mine worked at both drive-ins and his mom bowled at Park lanes. A guy I raced with, his uncle owned the farm lwhere the mall was built - his last name " McDonald." Too bad the footage was stopped on 21st St. [ 4:47 ] because my grandparents always sat out on their porch - the exact year and time. I would've seen my grandparents.
