Looks great Mike!. I coat the wire with 2 part quick set epoxy to lock it in place. I have a couple hammers i did that 20 years ago and they are still holding up great. I always do my homemade file handles that way too. That's a great deal on the stapler
Hey Mike the hammer looks like it came out well. Looking forward to seeing more of the caddie and Oh those boys got a lot more energy than I do. Take care Buddy see ya later..
@@Uwannawatch Thanks and the boys never seem to tire out. There will be more on the caddie to come. Thanks for watching and see you later today. Have a great weekend.
@@rlgroshans Thankyou for checking us out! It's greatly appreciated. Yes, you are correct. When you don't have a handle to replace the one thats cracked, then you can do this. I also will use some quick setting epoxy to seal and keep the wire in place. Thanks again for watching and hope to see you again. Have a great week!
That was painful to watch. Secure the far end of the wire on something. Then hold the hammer as a T handle pulling the wire tight. Rotate the hammer to wind the wire under tension.DoH
@@pixelpatter01 Thanks for watching! Sorry for the cringe moment, it was the first time trying this so I'm on the lower end of the learning curve.🤣 Thanks again for watching and have a great week!

😃👍
I am new to your channel. I am assuming the wire wrapping is to repair and support a broken handle?

@@WApnj Thanks for watching! It's the first time trying this, sorry for the oww visual.🤣 Thanks again and have a great week.
Put one end of the wire in a vise and pull the hammer to wrap the wire; you are making my hands hurt just watching you wrap that so loose.
