Again a gread video from Analytics with Nags. I have questions 1)Is there a way to check what are all the changes made in Dev vs Test (like we can see in ALM tookit) 2)Hope instead of moving all the content we can move specific report based on our requirement right? thanks for the wonderful video
Hey Nag, After 3:30, did you mean to say "workspaces will be assigned to pipelines or pipelines will be assigned workspaces". or both...I slightly feel this is a slip...correct me if I am wrong. What I know is when you create a pipeline in a workspace, you have that pipeline existing very much in the workspace right? Do you need to assign this workspace to a pipeline again? Also at 10:15 you might have explained the deployment rules where you can show how you can change the data source paths, it is simple only, so that it will be a complete video, presumably.....nice explanation though. thanks
Good video thanks for that have a question if we deploy from dev to test what about data source is it also move from dev to test or we create a rule for that. Could you please explain how to do that
I hope it deploys only the metadata changes or structural changes to dataset. Once deployed you need to refresh the dataset / it will do the refresh once so that new environment data would appear
Watch from 9 mins again, your question was explained. If that is not your question write to us on details analyticswithnags@gmail.com we will get back to you.
how to add environment details for TEST and PROD? where to add that configuration where it points to only TEST and PROD environments. if a new workspace is created for TEST and PROD, can we have restriction to see only some of the TEST and PROD Users.,
@@AnalyticswithNags Hi first of all thanks for your awesome work and reply to my questions. My question is how we can configure test and PROD environment when we create the pipelines to move our changes from DEV to TEST.
Good that you covered how to deploy if only a specific file undergoes changes 👏👍👌
Thanks keep learning
