    You know it is soooo crazy, while I was watching your birthing video I thought to myself..." This guys seems kinda off" Just the way he was talking to you and interacting with you while you were in your vulnerable state. Random things would just really rub my spirit the wrong way. I know this journey isn't what you expected but I do believe this may be a blessing in disguise. God has a way of ruining our plans to make way for BETTER. And you definitely deserve better girl. This will all be a part of an amazing testimony and your success story in the future. I'm Excited! Keep your head up girl! 😀

      I said the exact same thing, he was a a-hole! Especially when she was on FaceTime with her mother and sister. He was beyond rude.

    Having a baby is so hard and men don’t understand how vulnerable we become. They can just pick up and leave and find the next victim. It’s so important as a woman to vet these men before we have sex with them. If they don’t love you, they just stress you out and leave.
    Not bashing, I know from experience. I’m married now, but I had to remain celibate 14 years to sift through all the dusties.
    Y’all gone be okay!

    Great video. I’m a single mom in Houston. I must say I have certainly had my ups and downs. I could write a book!!! Every time I would struggle my parents would beg me to come home and I wouldn’t. I wanted something different for my son who was 9 when we moved down here. I’m still here with no family and not much of a village. I have another son who is now 15 and I’m still a single mother. The things that bother you about being a single mother still bother me but that has some what faded as I’ve aged. I have had breast cancer , I have lost jobs, I have started over a million times. I said this to say you will be fine. Once you make up your mind, get yourself together you will be find that right place for you and your son. Grant yourself some grace, be gentle with yourself. You got this! Sorry for the long post!😊

    Thank you for sharing and being vulnerable! I'm 40 and had to move back to my hometown AND back in with my dad. Definitely had some feelings there about it being a regression, a failure etc. I've definitely been encouraged (as some other people have said) to look at it as a temporary reset, a place to regroup and then move fwd again. Your video was 4 months ago so I'm hoping you're mentally (and financially) in a better spot now!

    I feel you on the not moving back to MD, especially back in our hometown. It certainly feels like a regression, but at the same time you should look at it as a time to refocus and plan your next move while having a strong support system. Whatever you plan, I wish you the best!!! Excited to see your next step!!!

    Hi!
    I moved here as a single mom and I'm still in Houston. What has saved me was the career I created after college. Since you have at least 5 years, that gives you time!

    Jasmine, I appreciate your vulnerability and your transparency. As a Mommy to be, I’m glad you talked about being able to move around before the baby and life in the country. I shared some of your same thoughts about country life when I was younger. If you are where I think you are, embrace the village you have. Let baby boy play in the dirt and enjoy his cousins and family. Planning ahead has never been a thing for me because I just moved wherever, whenever but I can’t do that anymore. I have to think about schools and things like that. Thank you for mentioning self care because I have lost some of that as a pregnant person

    • @JasmineDefined
      @JasmineDefined  Год назад +1

      I was SO raggedy through most of my pregnancy lol, but get that self care in while you still can! And yes, I love seeing him light up around his cousins, but come school time I’d rather be somewhere with more options. I’m done with the moving around, but still haven’t decided where I’ll settle. It’s kinda stressful to even think about…😩

    Why I left Houston and being a single mom, Jasmine Defined. I like it! You did a good job with this one. I like sit down videos. I like them better when they are super focused and shorter (under 10 minutes). I like it them better when it's not just a head shot. We want to see more of you. But I like your personality. I feel like we get more you from the sit down type videos. And I think Jasmine is awesome! Great video! I am and I continue to be a proud subjjjscriber to your channel. I am and I continue to be. I been with you for a long time. Years by now. Happy to support. Happy to give you feedback. And I super encourage anyone else watching to follow you too

    You so beautiful ❤ I'm only 22 this is exactly why I'm focusing on myself and dating to marry. most men don't understand what it's like being a woman (not bashing men) but it's frustrating lol we actually through alot such as periods and all effects of it. My parents been married for 24 years and i see them as a prime example, i would feel so hurt if a man won't be there for me, especially there's a child involved. 🙃

    This is my 1st time watching your video. Congrats on your baby boy 🙏🏽🤲🏽 he is so handsome...can I ask a few questions thou? I am just wondering how long did you knew him? And did you guys get married? Did you guys talk about what life would be like as a young married couple with a baby?.....Ladies trust me when I say I come from a place of love for yall when I say this but please know you are all better then just calling your man a baby daddy. It's not about if you're married yall can't breakup/time off or divorce but it's the fact that he is making those commitments towards yall future and knows what life together means and brings. Baby daddy's are way too comfortable and easy to slide when they haven't made the real commitments under God and legally. No more baby daddy's I want yall to say husband cause you deserve that and more. If he can't do it up for you he doesn't deserve you having a child by him. I was hearing a motivational women's movement activist talk that statistics show a married man tries to stay in a relationship with a baby more then a unmarried man with a baby. They feel obligated to work it out...I am not talking about you guys having to stay in abusive relationships and that's not saying that divorce doesn't exist but women are more likely to have a united home then not. Yall don't deserve saying I'm a single mother and struggling...why all that? Make sure you know him long enough, make sure he wants and will marry you and also make sure he wants that family with you more then anything. The rest is up to God. All the best to you hun 🙏🏽🤲🏽
