I love it as well, but his other movies just are too strong and H8 weirdly wasn't a hit from the beginning, like most of his other stuff.. most people i know didnt like it and it had some bts fuckups where parts of the script got leaked and Tarantino wanted to not do it at all anymore, but then rewrote some of it an shot it anyway
lol at 23:36. Jennifer Jason Leigh lost her accent because that was a real reaction to Kurt Russell destroying a very rare guitar made in the 1800s. Russell thought it was a prop guitar and not the real thing.

If you go back to the scene where John Ruth throws stew in Daisy's face you can see Joe Gage/Grouch Douglas stand up in frustration ultimately revealing himself.
6:53 As you watch the film and realize how skilled of a detective Chris Mannix actually is, also the fact that he’s a racist veteran, it makes sense that he was actually telling the truth the whole time.
definitely needs more love, black sheep of the filmography. I adore the cast and violence, it's got one of my favorite endings of Tarantino's movies too.
Fun fact: The Hateful Eight was originally conceived as a novel & sequel to Django Unchained titled Django in White Hell, but Tarantino scrapped the idea after he realized Django didn’t fit the story.
The confederation of American had their own currency and when the South lost the war it crippled the economy not only because they couldn’t farm slaves but the money they had was worthless… on top of that, most of the men were dead so the farm land couldn’t be farmed… starvation and poverty were rampant… the civil war took decades to recover from on both sides…

Oswoldo pitch going really high when he knew who had that Lincoln letter was really funny and Daisy reacting harder to the guitar smashing than Jody’s death because they didn’t change the guitar with the fake one so she really freaked 😂 also poor OB
When I first watched this movie I kept thinking back to try and figure out what was what for a long time after I watched it, that's the amazing thing about this movie how did he construct this story to make you doubt everyone so much. In the end it was exactly the way the characters said it was, except for the real bad guys.

This movie is so underrated! I hardly ever hear or see anyone mention it when listing their favorite Tarantino movies.

Iirc they mention 'the lincon letter' in a scene that got deleted, but its in the extended version still.
