Try out 6 sens , digital 5+ , linear 0.00 slope scale, 0 min deadzone, 69. Left max, 120fov , it feels like butter when aming. The aim assist is not too strong but not too weak
! The other settings are mostly personal choices, I'd choose Black Ops, dead zone 1 to 69 for left and 1 to 99 for right stick (have a little drift now).
There is also one idea that I use to boost fps on the ps5 in the WARZONE. I'm not using the ps5 version of the game, but the ps4. Most graphics settings and other things on the ps4 are lowered, this leads to stable fps. And it seems to me, according to my personal feelings, the game is more responsive.
If anyone needs a good dualsense edge setting is use left stick digital +5 and right stick dynamic -3 for edge settings and for in-game I use 5 left stick min and 5 right stick min. 99 for left and right stick max. 6-6 horizontal and vertical sensitivity. Linear aim response curve type with a 0.00 curve slope scale and black ops aim assists and you can mess around with ads sensitivity multiplier that feels best for you and use gradual ads sensitivity transition timing. Hope you guys like the settings

Great video! I had a quick question though, i saw another video of yours where you claimed that’voice chat’ off reduces input delay and i tried it , and it indeed felt like i had less input delay. But on this video you say to keep voice chat on to reduce delay?
Hi, this video test was mainly based on Warzone Rebirth Island, the other video was based on MW3 multiplayer, however, I'd do a new test for that one soon.

Also in the playstation settings in Screen and video , I feel that if you turn off “Deep Colour Output” and Select the “RGB Range” to Limited (it is automatic by default) , I feel like it also helps delay, a short test on that would be helpful in a future video! @@DDomaaa It's hard to consider testing Deep color output with Input lag settings as my current testing device EDID mode works differently in 4K and 1440p, but I consider it for future videos when I test that RAW delay on capture.

This would be hard to test. But I’m using a custom controller from a Swiss company called Rocket games. I used Aim controller in the past, but I wasn’t happy with them. Their built on the dual sense platform. But with there added back buttons and mouse click bumpers, I wonder what their response rates are. I think they are slower for sure.
Wow it needs tweaking the controller itself for that haha, because except from PS5 controllers where the signal can be duplicated with a $500 tool, for the rest of controllers I tried, it was not possible!

Hi, some routers are weak and when QOS is enabled they become slow at delivering a good speed! instead, what I did was using 2 routers and ISP one for house and other devices and one for only gaming (a cheap ADSL) and 16Mb/s DL and 2Mb/s UL from ADSL is enough for COD haha. I'm about making videos for packet loss too, under 3% is ok in most cases unless you want to be top 250.

Hi, if the monitor doesn't support HDMI VRR Form, it will not work with a converter, unless that's made with an EDID to make it possible like the capture card I use.

I.e fov 107, aim response curve standard then 60 for the slip scale, weapon view default, gore effects off. Only issue is I can't find a way to view fps counter on xbox i can enable server latency and packet loss but not sure how to do fps if it's even an option on xbox ?
I would still not reduce the FOV to such values. The fact that in some cases you will not see the enemy will be more critical and not worth the learned benefit. Respect for the approach and diligence , go on , good luck to you from Russia
Correct, it's all about your playstyle, and as mentioned, on 120FOV I had 3 ms in a few tests, it's not that much of an effect. but FPS drops may affect the smoothness which isn't that much compared to losing sight.
I haven't tested AA in this video for warzone, the issue is I can't ask others to stand still in Warzone and do an AA test with different settings😅. so it's hard to do unless I find a workaround.

We only test the values, there's no "Must" actually, VRR is good to prevent tearing! you can use it if your screen supports it, it's only in case you play a mode that is stable like multiplayer.

Hi, what you'd need is a small bump before 50% of the stick, I have to check and I'm not sure which would give that as you also need precise too, it's precise by default + a small bump.
it was on a native 1080p output from an Elgato Capture card, the results are close to RAW (TV or Capture delay is considered to be taken off) so it's the same for almost every unit!
To confirm, you reported 18.75ms for 1080p resolution. Would it be the same for 1080p resolution on a 1080p monitor? I’m thinking about getting a benq xl2546k which is a 1080p 240hz montitor with low input lag, but I’m worried that it will have more input lag than if I went with a 4k monitor instead.
@@MatTheW-wr8jo keep in mind that the delay is for the controller and not the picture, your picture delay on most monitors with 1080p 120Hz is typically under 5ms, then your controller has +13ms higher than the picture, so the monitor isn't a problem tbh nor the picture input lag.

Hi, for Edge USB is always faster, I'm not sure on which video I mentioned Edge is better with BT but USB is 1000Hz, maybe a wrong input from older videos.

Hi, there's some limitation on PS5 that if you're running a game at 4k 120FPS in some of them 4K 60FPS is not supported I tried and it failed and needed to record 1080p too!
Hi, not every game asks for a high polling rate, it's idle and what controller can support, when it comes to 60FPS what I've seen typically is +40ms up to 160ms depending on the game.
Hello! I have the DUALSENSE EDGE, but I see that the indicator lights, and the MICROPHONE button, do not turn on the lights. They only turn blue for a few seconds when I turn on the controller or PS5. And I can't find how to configure it. Is it normal or is it malfunctioning?
Hi, mic is only on when the mic is off, indicator should be on 1 typically, in videos I use PC to control the lights and it's normal for games to keep lights off (except mic and indicator)
Hi, PS5 max USB speed is 10Gb/s (Type-C and Back Ports) and I tested both back and front ports with multiple cables, the 1000Hz is achievable even with the USB 2 in the front port, the difference in 99% of the cases is not noticeable, if a game supports full 1000Hz request then the USB 3 can help with 1-3ms improved input lag.

Thanks! As far as I tested for another video before, it did not, the difference was shallow and sometimes even higher FPS and less lag with HDR.

Have you ever experienced your right stick sensitivity feeling different (higher), even though you haven't changed the in-game sensitivity settings? I'm currently experiencing this and don't really know how to fix it. Even if I reduce the in-game sensitivity to 2-2, it feels like 6-6. (I'm using a SCUF Reflex FPS PS5).

Hi, what you'd need is a small bump before 50% of the stick, I have to check and I'm not sure which would give that as you also need precise too, it's precise by default + a small bump.
Your input lag results for 1080p was on a 4k monitor right? Do you think input lag for 1080p on a 1080p monitor would have better results?
it was on a native 1080p output from an Elgato Capture card, the results are close to RAW (TV or Capture delay is considered to be taken off) so it's the same for almost every unit!
To confirm, you reported 18.75ms for 1080p resolution. Would it be the same for 1080p resolution on a 1080p monitor? I’m thinking about getting a benq xl2546k which is a 1080p 240hz montitor with low input lag, but I’m worried that it will have more input lag than if I went with a 4k monitor instead.
@@MatTheW-wr8jo keep in mind that the delay is for the controller and not the picture, your picture delay on most monitors with 1080p 120Hz is typically under 5ms, then your controller has +13ms higher than the picture, so the monitor isn't a problem tbh nor the picture input lag.

1080p for a bit higher FPS, 2160p for least controller delay (or automatic) with FidelityFx Off.

Hi, for Edge USB is always faster, I'm not sure on which video I mentioned Edge is better with BT but USB is 1000Hz, maybe a wrong input from older videos.

Can you test manual video recording? Why does manual video recording change to 1080 recording instead of 4K 60 in 120 fps games? Recording in 4K 60 is only possible in 60 frame games.
Hi, there's some limitation on PS5 that if you're running a game at 4k 120FPS in some of them 4K 60FPS is not supported I tried and it failed and needed to record 1080p too!

So 2K and 120hz is Best for Dual sense… but is 2K and 120hz also the best for FPS while playing?
Please check the details for the resolution section, 4K 120Hz at the end of the tests has the least input lag.

for anything under 1ms I'd say they're the same so it's ok to keep it on if the difference is less than 1ms.

you can use any % you like, for Edge it didn't matter.
but if you turn it off you may get a few FPS more in some situations.

0.5 ms difference is humanly impossible to perceive. Probably 14ms is according to tests in a best case scenario.
Yes, even 5-10ms is hard to tell for many people, but the affection for the smoother register on analog sticks is important IMO.

Hi, not every game asks for a high polling rate, it's idle and what controller can support, when it comes to 60FPS what I've seen typically is +40ms up to 160ms depending on the game.
USB only, BT is typically 700-900 in my tests, never seen a stable 1000Hz on BT on PS5.

Hello! I have the DUALSENSE EDGE, but I see that the indicator lights, and the MICROPHONE button, do not turn on the lights. They only turn blue for a few seconds when I turn on the controller or PS5. And I can't find how to configure it. Is it normal or is it malfunctioning?
Hi, mic is only on when the mic is off, indicator should be on 1 typically, in videos I use PC to control the lights and it's normal for games to keep lights off (except mic and indicator)

Have you tested using a super speed USB 3.1 cable Gen 2 cable and the Edge if it makes a difference in response?
Hi, PS5 max USB speed is 10Gb/s (Type-C and Back Ports) and I tested both back and front ports with multiple cables, the 1000Hz is achievable even with the USB 2 in the front port, the difference in 99% of the cases is not noticeable, if a game supports full 1000Hz request then the USB 3 can help with 1-3ms improved input lag.
