*ATTENTION* Supermarket Sweep Fans! We have a unique episode-trading opportunity to offer: As many may have noticed, most of the recently posted episodes to our channel have been blocked due to copyright claim. However, we would like to keep posting more episodes, so: We will give a flash drive with all 40 episodes currently on Amazon (from 2000) and 10 episodes from BUZZR (1991) to anyone who can offer us 30 Supermarket Sweep episodes not currently on our channel. Those episodes have to be of *decent* audio & visual quality---meaning the average person should be able to see and hear what is going on in the video without having to make any adjustments; no exceptions. If you only have your originals, THAT'S OKAY: Whether they're on VHS, DVD, Blu-Ray, or flash drive, we'll be able to make copies and send your originals back to you promptly and safely (along with your 50-episode flash drive!). This offer applies to all Ruprecht (U.S) and Canadian episodes of Supermarket Sweep. No UK episodes for now. Please message us if you're interested. And as always: THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!
Finally someone goes for my strategy of health & beauty products! Even if items are only $7 vs $20 for a pack of diapers you can fit like 20x as many in your cart!
It’s true that the strategy should work because in theory there should be expensive items in that section, and the small size makes the cart have greater volume. But for whatever reason, that strategy is always a dud at the checkout counter.
the fact that you are only allowed five of any item cancels out the fact that you can fit 20x as much in your cart though......7 X a maximum of 5 beauty items is a maximum of 35 dollars ....$20 diapers X 5 as the limit equals $100 In the case the diapers are the better strategy......they did not win because of the beauty items but because they won the $100 mini sweep in the beginning....
@@trinigrl09 I've definitely seen people take 5 of 3 or 4 different beauty items. After all, they can take 5 each of the big hams/turkeys/cuts of meat, which definitely all fall under the same category. There must be some more specific rules we're not aware of.
@@AmyC531 5 of 3 what do you mean? you can't take 5 of 3 but you can take 3 0f your limit of 5......Even if you take 5 of different beauty items at different costs it's still a more effective strategy to get meats and cheeses because of the $15-30 price tag for each TYPE of cheese or meat....... because each beauty item is likely 10 dollars or less the one she was picking were 7 dollars Therefore meats and cheeses are the more efficient way to earn money....The meats and cheeses don't fall under the same category....they have different prices
@@trinigrl09 Sorry, I meant I've seen people take 5 each of three different types of beauty products, for example 5 boxes of haircolor, 5 bottles of moisturizer, etc. If 5 total of all beauty items is all you're allowed (not 5 each of different products) then theoretically you wouldn't also be able to take 5 each of different cuts of meat, it would just be 5 total.
I remember when I first saw the Weinermobile. It was last year when the Penguins had that Stadium Series game at Heinz Field. I saw parked in front of the hotel right next to PPG Paints Arena. I got a couple good shots of it with my iPhone.
They lost because he frittered away his lead trying to do the shopping list independently of shopping. I've never seen a team make that strategy work. It's really inefficient.
DionysusAlS I agree. Running out into the market without your cart is such a bad idea. The only exception is if you’re planning on grabbing an enormous bonus (like the tube of Crest in this episode) and immediately dragging it back. Otherwise, take the cart!
That’s the biggest waste of time in the market, going for the secret shopping list. It’s fool’s gold. Paul would’ve won if he had just grabbed meats and cheeses with those wasted 40 seconds
While I respect Jana and Stephanie’s strategy of hanging on the health and beauty aisle, grabbing a lot of smaller items to fill the cart, it’s always a losing strategy. Winning strategy is always = big meats, big cheese wedges, big Tide boxes, grabbing a bonus, grind coffee and grab cans while grinding. That’s how you win on this amazing game show
Elaine Oh Yes, there is a limit. I also suspect there is a two unique meat items limit too. For me the winning strategy is hams and turkeys, grind coffee while grabbing cans of coffee and nesquik, then go get wedges of cheese and salami, grab bonus and head back for new cart. Fill new cart with boxes of detergent, diapers, and large jugs of oil. Then make a bag of candy in the middle aisle. That’s an easy strategy to make $1,000 in around 2 minutes

I wanted the black team to win...
They missed it by just 101 bucks. So close...

same, but paul should've grabbed more stuff in the pails he had before getting his cart if he's gonna go without it at first.
Of course you did cause your black.

He should have put stuff in those garbage cans and picked up a bonues while he was looking for the bonuses. Dummiii
They Always Win, Win, Win!
Where did they get David's sweaters! Lol!!
He drops it and put it back on the shelf? No put it in the trash bin!

I think Dick Clark was a DJ before he came to be a game show host.
Yes, Dick Clark, Bill Cullen, Jim Lange, Bob Eubanks, Wink Martindale, Pat Sajak
all of them were DJ's before being Game Show Hosts
Paul and teresa lost because team 2 shopped a whole lot in health and beauty section
