Danny Tran suspension is villas arbor lowering springs, chevy equinox sport struts and shocks which came lowered from factory 1 inch so they work well with the lowering springs and adjustable rear cam nuts to help the rear camber be aligned back into factory specs. Springs were made only 10 sets a few years back and I was lucky enough to find one of the sets available on the terrain forum online for sale new.
Boy you should of copy and pasted a post about the springs, you are a nice dude telling every kindly they cant get them haaa...its sux I got a 17 terrain recently MINT condition, and trying to get rid if som of that wheel gap,but kinds risky going with Saturn vue parts, did someone tell you those would fit? I'm thinking of cutting a coil out of each looking for parts is proving to be verry challenging
It passes time at work lol. Check out gmc terrain nation on facebook. I have much more detailed postings on there
@@PapawsDadillacOEMplus I just called belltech asked if they'd custom make me something so if we get enough people I can get some suspension kits made lol but damn you scored with that setup ,I gotta find something, they don't make coilovers either ,even the airride kits don't list my truck wtf

villis arbor dont come out....send me the link,,,,gracias
+Elemeth Galvan there is no link. They only made a few sets years ago and were found either on the forums and ebay
Yeah it was a limited run back in 2014, wish I had known about this back then.
+Ryan Christensen A set just sold last month on the forums
Is it awd
Yes
And no issues everyone's telling me i cant do it because of the different tire size
@@gboone8919 no issues at all. The tires are the same size even though they are staggered. 245 45 20 and 275 40 20 is the same circumference. Join our page on FB. GMC terrain nation
@@PapawsDadillacOEMplus hi .is not the same . One tire is more small .45 the numberous middle and you have 40 . Maybe is the front . The my Maybe i gonna chan the 40 to the front because they toch the plastic and make noise when i turn. In the back 45 ..275.40.20.
Looks good man, do you know what size tire you were running?
Thank you! Tires were 245 45 20 and 275 40 20. Same size tire so no issues with awd
How bout the engine how reliable is it
Aldo Beltran the 2014 and up 4 cyl is very reliable, they fixed alot of issues from earlier years. I wouldn't get anything 2013 or older. 2013 was the worst. Oil consumption issues, pcv issues where it would freeze and blow the rear main seal and all the oil would be lost, timing chains, cam sensors etc was bad, but redesigned and remedied for 2014. I would have much rather gotten the 3.6 v6. 301hp but at the time couldn't find any.
Thanks
Just wanna ask, did you used adaptor to make the rim fit?
No adapters were needed. Was a direct fit and turns without issue in either direction. Also uses factory terrain lug nuts
Are these trucks rwd or front wheel drive
What lowering springs did you use? My sound was scratchy, thanks
David Smith villas arbor springs. There were only ten sets made a few years back.
Hey man I see you've been keeping with comments. That's awesome! I saw in one of your other replies about piecing together something similar with Meghan springs and some Saturn shocks and struts. I was just wondering if you had anymore information about this or even if it works. I know about the Terrain facebook page but can't get accepted to it. Thanks!
Hey whats up? It does work. I helped another member on the page sort it out a few years back, and once he did it, I believe 3 others did it as well. Came out nice. What page are you not able to get on? I did a big write up with part numbers on that page, but I left almost 2 years ago when I got rid of the terrain.
@@PapawsDadillacOEMplus ohhh okay I couldn’t get into GMC Terrain nation. If you could somehow find that write up I would really love an e mail haha.
Do you still know the part numbers by chance? I work at a gm mechanic shop so I think i can get it done if I get the parts. Thanks again
@@PapawsDadillacOEMplus that would be awesome! If you would rather email me mfleming28@outlook.com will work fine

Try that to start
Hey how well does it do on performance?? On stock of course
Chuche Galvan I'm not sure I understand the question ?
Kevintheoutlaw how well does it do on the road is it a 4 cylinder engine
Yes it's a 2.4 4 cyl. It gets good gas mileage. It's no speed demon or corner carver by any means.
Kevintheoutlaw awsome man very dependable??
No complaints as of yet. Will be three years this fall. Liked it enough I traded in my lifted v8 Colorado for an equinox which is literally the same thing
Looks great!
Jim Rodriguez thanks!
Very nice looking Terrain! Which motor do you have? 2.4L 4cyl or the 3.0 V6 ? and how does the 20" affect the ride? Thanks
Patrick T. I wish I had the 3.6 v6 301hp but instead I have the 2.4 :( it definitely is noticed in acceleration and braking, but the wider tires do help in corners.
Also thank You! :)
Hi .i change the my aftermaker rims. They take more gas also they touch the plastic . 19 is good . Is you 4 cilinders . And if you have v6 . Is more bigger . You can put 22s
How did you lower it? Coilovers, or just lowering springs. How's the ride?
Lowering springs and shorter oem shocks from an equinox sport which is 1 inch lower from factory. Had a very nice ride since it wasn't slammed. Even with a load in the trunk it rode good. Couldn't tell it was lowered.
where u got the coils
Off the forum. Guy was selling them
I KNOW YOU HAVE THE LIMITED MADE LOWERING SPRINGS, BUT DO YOU KNOW OF ANY OTHER PLACE THAT I CAN LOWER MY 2015 TERRAIN? I'VE GOT A SET OF 22" RIMS, AND THINK A 2" DROP WOULD BE SUFFICIENT, WHAT DO YOU THINK SIR?
yes, if you have facebook send a request for the gmc terrain nation page. i did a whole write up on set ups that work. It can be done with saturn vue components.
thanks
thanks
Images for suspension springs villas arbor thats the only thing that comes out
+Elemeth Galvan they only made 10 sets for the terrain. Was a one shot custom run. Not sure if they did other vehicles or what. Pohl springs will make a set for around 500-750$
Look good
Thank you
@@PapawsDadillacOEMplus I have a 2015 SLE looking to do a sound system
ONLY THING i like about it is that its dropped. i have a 2015 chevy equinox u should see it on my channel i have two 15 inch subs in it and 22 inch rims everybody just breaks there necks to see it the reason is just cuz they aint used to seein a grandmas car fixed up
Glad you enjoyed its lowering
Thats how low it should've came from the factory. No one I know of ever takes their terrain off-road so why did they make them sit so high ugh! I scored 19" Denali wheels off eBay to get rid of the puny sized 17s.
Ryan Christensen I agree. From factory too much wheel gap especially in rear
Kevintheoutlaw yeah the stance you have now looks just like the 2009 Trailblazer SS!
Ryan Christensen I wish it had the motor of the ss lol
Where did you find that suspension at?
Luis Mejia a member on the local forum was selling the complete suspension new so I grabbed it
Kevintheoutlaw oh alright thanks. Cuz ive been looking to find a way to lower mine
You should sand that area where the Chrome has melted and Plasti Dip it
Steve Jankonzz not a huge fan of that stuff. Should be getting it painted here next month
Fumny I want it lifted
you say billis arbor springs...
+Elemeth Galvan villis arbor
Hi where do you bought the lowering kit?
I got it from a member on terrainforum.com
Kevintheoutlaw
Ok thanks
