    Nice work. Same car but 2015. Two questions;
    1- What do you mean by led fog lights turning white? Just switched my headlights to led and was going to switch fogs next
    2- Have you heard of or do your friends who know the schematics know how to hook up the factory sub? The sle1 ships with sun but not wired. Been trying to learn how to connect for a while.

    • @PapawsDadillacOEMplus
      @PapawsDadillacOEMplus  6 лет назад +1

      I had cheap led fog lights at first and they lost color. I spent money on some quality leds in 3k and they have been great ever since.
      For the system you can either get a amp out of a denali which has the sub channel active or install aftermarket setup like i did. Im not 100% how they did it, other than they said they tapped into passenger side rear speakers. Went with an aftermarket 500 watt amp and jlw3 13 inch subwoofer in the spare tire area of the trunk.

      alex cuello the driving experience I feel is improved in the fact that the vehicle seems more planted in corners, however if you have a 4 cyl like I do you will notice a little more effort starting and stopping. Not an annoyance but enough to notice. I take these off in the winter and put on my stock wheels and tires on as we get a ton of snow here too and I don't want them ruined from what they put on the road. If you can find a set cheap on ebay or Craigslist or the Canadian version I would snag them. Around here they're usually between 400-700 with tires. Best of luck

    Badass build bro! No joke i found a pic of ur car when i got my terrain last year and it was my screen saver for a hot minute! Interested in the suspension portion of this. I saw most of the comments are from awhile ago but do you know where i could find a kit nowadays? Been looking but cant find anything! Thanks!

      Damn man thank you! Thats awesome to hear. So the components were a set of springs which only ten sits were formally made. The struts are still purchaseable through napa autozone etc as are the rear cam nuts. But the part that gives you the drop arent anymore.

      Danny Tran suspension is villas arbor lowering springs, chevy equinox sport struts and shocks which came lowered from factory 1 inch so they work well with the lowering springs and adjustable rear cam nuts to help the rear camber be aligned back into factory specs. Springs were made only 10 sets a few years back and I was lucky enough to find one of the sets available on the terrain forum online for sale new.

    • @PapawsDadillacOEMplus
      @PapawsDadillacOEMplus  7 лет назад +1

      Aldo Beltran the 2014 and up 4 cyl is very reliable, they fixed alot of issues from earlier years. I wouldn't get anything 2013 or older. 2013 was the worst. Oil consumption issues, pcv issues where it would freeze and blow the rear main seal and all the oil would be lost, timing chains, cam sensors etc was bad, but redesigned and remedied for 2014. I would have much rather gotten the 3.6 v6. 301hp but at the time couldn't find any.
