    How do you spell “thumas” - the word that the professor refers to several times in relation to aggression and violence?

      it is "thumos" (θυμοσ). Ιt is a greek word for passion/heart.

    What is Pain for the British
    Is Du Pain (Bread) for the French.

    The reason the scene is in French is that it was written for performance at court, where the aristocrats would get the joke; double entendre. Now, I'd like to hear from the professor where he thinks Shakespeare learned his French.
