    Interesting to see you using a baitcaster instead of a spinning reel.

      I don’t always but I do love using them. They are particularly good for flipping baits around structure.

    Great video! Do you tend to tighten the drag so the fish can't take any line whatsoever?

      @@TheTangledAngler I used to but these days set to give line only with extreme pressure. Glad you liked the video

      @TheConstantAngler brilliant, cheers for the reply! I went lure wrasse fishing today for the first time and lost a lot of fish in snags due to having the drag too loose I think 🙄

      @ I set it so I can just turn the spool with my fingers rather than by pulling line off. Good luck

    Do wrasse be in shallow water like 2 foot deep and what would I use bait or lures

    • @TheConstantAngler
      @TheConstantAngler  2 года назад

      They can be but you can find them in deep water. Bait wise Ragworm or frozen prawns work. Lure wise soft plastic lures about 3-4inches work for me. This video helps How to Lure Fish for Wrasse - Tackle, Rigs & Lures

      @@TheConstantAngler what about float fishing for wrasse

    • @TheConstantAngler
      @TheConstantAngler  2 года назад

      Float fishing with bait can be one of the t ways to catch them. Crabs, prawns, Ragworm or lugworm for bait. Just use a sliding sea float set up. You can also use lures to catch them on the float.

    What is better a 20 to 60 g or a 14 to 40 g rod

    • @TheConstantAngler
      @TheConstantAngler  2 года назад +1

      If your after Wrasse I would go 14-40 out of the two but really I would be looking at 10 - 35 ideally
