The new album has given me so much inspiration to try out different effects and vibes and not be such a perfectionist and such a try hard lol. It's been two years but i'll say it anyways, not my responsibility is an interlude and interlude is when you're not exactly singing but talking (or just instrumental there are songs that are instrumental too but interlude can be so too) and it's kind of an intro to the next song and if u noticed it later it transitions to overheated because since interludes is intros the next song is in some way a continuation (which is why most interludes transitions)

My favourite part about it is that she continues on with the theme of god being part of her sexual experiences, by introducing this musical nod to the theme again… using a verse that is basically the same meaning lyrically that the previous song was (aka he’s got his head on her boobs and she’s smiling at him as she… uh… “takes him to heaven”…) so basically she’s warping the religious aspect I’m assuming the other person has brought up, in a way that serves her. But perhaps also equating sex to a heavenly sort of experience or something? My favourite part about this song is that it thematically so seamlessly transitions into the theme of fame and fake and fleeting worship, using the “angel” like a souvenir that can be discarded, so it becomes a song about keeping your head down. And the following songs deal with these topics more thoroughly. Sigh. This album is too good.

Ya it was 3am so I was pretty tired in general, I hardly sleep lately. I feel like this album fell flat. As a fan of Billie since her EP release, I’m just disappointed with the complete lack of variety in this album. Almost every song feels the same as the last, and unlike in her debut album, all of the songs are at the same energy level (which is zero). I hate to say it but I think this is Billie’s worst release so far.
I have a feeling ur just trying to shit on billie… bc please how is oxytocin and everybody dies the same? This has huge variety, a lot more than her last album, and this seems more organic and personal.

I feel like this album fell flat. As a fan of Billie since her EP release, I’m just disappointed with the complete lack of variety in this album. Almost every song feels the same as the last, and unlike in her debut album, all of the songs are at the same energy level (which is zero). I hate to say it but I think this is Billie’s worst release so far.
I want an honest answer for how Halleys Comet and My Future sound like Overheated and Oxytocin
I have a feeling ur just trying to shit on billie… bc please how is oxytocin and everybody dies the same? This has huge variety, a lot more than her last album, and this seems more organic and personal.

Sorry to hear the new album didn’t vibe with you. I think maybe it will grow on you, or not. Artists are always evolving so I think maybe this different vibe takes a bit getting used to. I think I still prefer her first album and it’s probably because I relate to those lyrics and song subjects more. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinion and art is subjective, what someone fancies, there’s always going to be people who don’t. Take care Dotum❤️
