Abjuration Wizards are the best party tanks! The best Wizard subclass in the game. You can literally block up to 576 points of damage with a full 24 arcane ward charge. With counter spell, you can latterly shut down any enemy spell. With proper gear, fought bosses and won with some party member taking 5-6 damage each on tactician.
Abjuration is really good, it’s a very different gameplay I’m still getting used to as I do build testing, but with the right gear it goes hard. Gale with Markoheshkir with water set up can usually delete entire rooms on turn 1. My abjuration gale on honor was a monster. I didn't really run him around to prock opp attscks and force damage, but I would just plant him in the middle of shit and use him like a regular wizard there. With an answer to every problem through walls of fire, magic missiles, invulnerable globes etc. Somebody needs to be picked up, gale Somebody needs to be cc'd, gale Somebody needs haste? Gale A door or staircase needs to be turned into a deathtrap? Gale Need to tank any mechanic in the endgame? Gale 😂😂😂
Normally you wouldn’t dual wield a wizard but here it makes sense! Kereska’s Favor lighting and cold are both so effective. Getting free Chain Lighting or Cone of Cold ontop of the spell slot restoration is wild
I am new to the game I just have a quick question do I have to start a new playthrough because I do little to no damage with my paladin also I miss most of the attacks the same with the other characters And now looking for Gale builds because he is like the only one in my party that does damage what stats should I increase to miss less attacks for gale and a paladin also for shadowheart
@@JasonDunna yeh eldritch blast is just so damn strong and with the upgraded cantrip from being a wizard it's even better, Iv never tried dual wielding staves didn't even know you could do that

Dual wielding is so strong because of the magic items in the game. Kereska’s Favor is also pretty powerful with Evocation too

Dude don’t worry about it. The game is meant for everyone and you can build them with anything. Plus those spells are great as well

Gale is pretty powerful if you spec him right! Especially against bosses

Definitely! Any magic class is very strong for honour mode
Best feat at lvl 8 is spellslinger
For Eldritch Blast? I think dual wielding staves is pretty useful since you’ll want to be casting leveled spells as much as you can
