I own the version for US mains. Highly recommend it. Used it once to clean the tile floor in a restaurateur friend's office - buried inside the unseen portion of the restaurant. The tile had accumulated a 5' wide path, at least 2mm thick, of matted lint and grease from staff shoes coming in her office. Together with an orange oil cleaner and bucket mop, she was astounded at how quickly the steam melted everything up so it would be easily wiped away with the mop. She was so impressed, she bought herself a unit for her home and a higher capacity model up for the restaurant.

Hope you’re well and thanks for the comment, yes, I love these steam cleaners for just that purpose, when I saw the Karcher one being so versatile with the attachments, I jumped at getting one because I’d had a specific floor steamer before and a small hand held one for cleaning, but this has soooo many different uses.
@@HooverLux so many different uses and SOOO much more steam power! I didn't realize the power difference between a true steam boiler like the Karcher and others/drip plate designs until I cleaned the bathroom with it the first time.

Amazon reviews only go so far and your demo has convinced me that purchasing this attachment would be a viable (and cheaper!) alternative to renting,

Nice job , looks like a great machine , only ever used a steamer once , I know not to leave it in same spot to long as it can pop the plaster off walls on older houses.
Last time I stripped paper I sprayed water and fairy liquid with Kirby sprayer .
Way more messy than using a steamer .

@@HooverLux i rented a steamer for paper stripping long ago and it was very helpful. I just bought an SC3 and never knew it had this attachment available. I'll be ordering one this week
Can’t recommend it enough, you’ll find it a lot less messy than your previous one as the steam is better out is more powerful and quicker to soften the paper and so less steam mess 🤗
