  • Possible funnel-cloud on this video! Highlighted by lightning strikes! We seen this storm coming for a while before it got here. It was actually 2 separate storms that merged together right in front of my camera and then together they hit my location. The lightning was pretty much constant before the storm got here. During the first few minutes of the video there was a lot of talking so I had to mute it, also these storms were moving very slowly, 20mph actually, so the approach took forever, so I had to speed that up. I only sped it up by 2x so that you can still see the frequent lightning. For this storm to be so lit up with lightning it sure was very quiet, surprisingly quiet actually, the loudest part of this whole storm was the half-inch hail actually. This storms slow moving speed also made the video quite long even with the first portion of the video at 2x normal speed. It hailed 3 separate times during this storm. Thanks for watching! 7:44 that cloud structure top right 😮 I love this stuff. I’ve gone through so many chaser videos on YT, including random footage of storms (tornadoes, thunderstorms etc) and it’s always nice to find a new channel. I saw another video of yours first - the dangerous lightning one that scared the delivery driver. That was intense. I’m loving watching the collusion of two storms into one here.

That was MESMERIZING ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Is it possible the heat from the sun in that patch of clear blue sky helped to fuel these storms to their magnitude?

I'm glad you like my video! And oh yeah I'm sure the sun fueled these storms before they arrived, the sun was on their backside before they hit my location.

Just saw your description saying a possible funnel. What time was this storm and whereabouts? I could look up on RadarScope and see what was happening around then.

What is that upper, little white dot to the right of center? Is it actually on the wire? Cool build up to the storm, btw. I usually ffwd through that part on other people's vids, but this one was fascinating.
