I can tell you what expect in one short phrase: HELL ON EARTH. And I speak from experience. They warned me of many issues, but did not tell me it would destroy my lymphatic system and my throat would require self massage due to lymphedema for the rest of my life to disperse the huge bulge caused by fluid. I have IBS and had the fortitude to refuse having a feeding tube through my stomach wall. Consultant told me she'd only seen one patient manage without one, but I was the second I guess. I begged my UK hospital to use the less harsh protocol tried in Mayo clinic in USA but they refused.
Hi, radiotherapy treatment of my father for mouth cancer was complelted to 3 weeks ago but still he is sufferinfg from ulcers, headaches, diffculting in swallowing, As a i know these are side effects of radiotherapy but how much it will take to recover ?
Hey my grandmother has the exact side effects but it’s been a year has your father experienced any improvement over the last months ? If so could you please state what he used ? She till now has trouble eating or swallowing
