Train Over the Cascades - Jordan Nylander

Train Over the Cascades is an Original Composition by Jordan Nylander.
This piece was composed in April 2019 on a train ride from Eugene, OR to Chemult, OR through the Cascade Mountain Range.
Performed April 18th at United Churches of Olympia as part of their Holy Week Organ Concerts.
Program Notes: As you listen you will be taken on a journey over the snow covered Cascade Mountains, traveling through tunnels, from forest filled windows, to expansive clearings. Sounds of the train running on the rails and the train whistle are imitated in the music.
Bio: Jordan Nylander is an Olympia born pianist who has a way of using his piano music to communicate what words cannot. He has his Bachelors of Arts in Music - Piano Performance and is currently working on his Masters in Education with a Music Endorsement.
