One of my favorite memories of the BoDeans was listening to this song at Summerfest on a warm summer night with the moon over the lake. One of the great Waukesha bands.
Been listening to The BoDeans for decades now. This is the first time I have ever seen a video of them. Gotta say, that is the simplest drum kit I have seen since I was in junior high.
These guys sound as good as they ever did. Love laying out on my hammock on a sunny day with a good cigar and somethin cold listening to this awesome band.
These guys have been through a lot of drama. I wonder how they will resolve, forgive, and play together again. Sammy, Kurt, Bob, and Nick - you do not have a choice. Show the world how to come together.
My wife is one of those that knows so much music, so I have her DJ all the time at home. Told her I want to burn a CD for my truck and started saying "use this one" here and there. After a week of that, she said that I might as well just get the Bodeans album. Good stuff.
I wondered why they broke up? We saw BoDeans without Sammy in Atlanta & it wasn't the same. You are innocent until proven guilty & why did it take so long for this come out? Something is off. So sad for everyone concerned.
yeah it's kind of like Marc and Gary of The jayhawks do they just can't stay together without fighting and either egos clashing or just can't get along
Great song!!!! When ever I listen to it, (which is a couple times a week) I replay it multiple times. Love the band.!!! Saw them in concert last fall (minus Sammy) was very disappointed. All of the instruments were too loud, could hardly here the vocals. Must have been a piss poor sounds guy.
An absolute shame what the Neumann's are doing to Sam Llanas these days. Despicable and low. Trying to shut him up with a sexual misconduct claim so they can STEAL what's left of what they took from him, and now going after all the royalties. They already hijacked the Bodeans name. What next Barbra Neumann! You already ruined the band when you came onto the scene!
Love the Bodeans with Kurt & Sam and wish they would play together again, but only God and these two know what really happened - not for you to judge!!

This song was written in Montana by Idaho rhymed more with the lyrics hence the name "Idaho".
