Is there a reason why you want to be on jet pack set to hold rather than toggle? I’m on mnk and I tried both and when it’s on hold it will still trigger the jet pack for a small, insignificant boost even if I touch it for a split second. So it’s not really helping with wall jumps or anything. I’d get setting it up like that if it didn’t make you boost on quick presses, but it does so I don’t really see a point.

Valkyrie on launch is what brought me back to apex (only played at the release of the game). After playing apex actively for a few seasons I got lucky and got heirloom shards and immediately bought her spear and Birthright skin that I always wanted. I am trying to master her and your guide helps so much! Really appreciate it, she is a beast even after the nerfs and the most versatile legend out of all of them!
I don't know if this is just the nerfs but whenever I see Valk move in a video she's always flying like she's on Octane Stim but when I try flying with her it's like Crouch Walking while downed with a Phoenix Kit and arc star on top of that for good measure
still haven’t seen anyone talk about how if you use your jets right before interacting with a zipline you get sort of an anti gravity, super jump type of effect and soar out of the zip when you jump off. i found it by accident and have been using it a ton in games recently and amazed i haven’t seen it yet. haven’t finished the vid so i may come back and delete this but comment and let me know if you have found this and know any implementations, or if you know of anyone who uses this in their gameplay. or even if you learned something.
@@lilollypump it’s something that can happen unexpectedly, but when tamed it’s super powerful for taking height. you get to have your gun out the whole time too
As a Valk main, this has to be the most in depth guide I've seen. Bravo.
I implemented your tips into my gameplay and dropped 5 kills and 1500 dmg. This is by far the best valk guide out there.

Another tip for when shooting missiles near cover, look down and then fire. The missiles will go a bit more vertical and clear the cover.

sorry for the late reply. setting it to hold makes it so that you can use shorter bursts since you only have to hit the spacebar once instead of twice

i saw him mention it very briefly but i think it deserves a bit more attention. he did acknowledge it though.

I did mention it but it’s something that more often then not will get you killed. sometimes it’s super helpful to get you to certain places though!
