      Of course!!! I think Petrov has one of the sharpest openings (lines) for both sides! Lol
      But of course there's the drawish Petrov which was often played in the world championship lol (Ruy Lopez is also one of the wildest & sharp opening, but then there's the Berlin lol)

    This is a true queen sacrifice unlike the previous game.
    A sacrifice where you have little compensation in terms of material for your queen and you don't immediately win you opponents queen back

    Damn, it's got so much aesthetic beauty, Carlsen's queen sac against Giri doesn't look half as pleasing.too bad Alireza couldn't finish off his opponent.

    @agadamtor At 6:52 Q captures K on g5 may have led to Wesley So having a Rook against a Knight endgame. Stands a better chance of winning. What do you think? Am I wrong?

    5:49 actually you would be giving the queen for just a pawn cause after queen takes pawn there is rook e6 check then regardless of what black plays the queen will be captured without material loss.

    Chess is more like a hobby to me; but I was able to get the pause the video moment. Moving the other N didn't seem like it did enough. However, I wasn't able to get the (right) pawn advance, "which I'm sure you all see." No need to underestimate how feeble the chess of some of your viewers is.

    Hi Agad, can I please respectfully advise that you use the word ‘objectively’ incorrectly. You use it as most people do, meaning ‘if we are to be fair’, however, objectively means ‘with reference to the objects / the facts of reality’. As there is never any reason why you should not be referring to the facts of reality, there is no need to ever say ‘objectively’ before evaluating truth. Stating ‘objectively’ only seems to imply that you’re otherwise evaluating the position subjectively, which essentially translates to ‘based on my feelings or whims’. As you yourself are always honest and objective, there is no need for you to ever say ‘objectively’.
