@Setarkos91 I'm from Belgium, I live 20 kilometers from the Muur and I have ridden it 100 times. Where Canc attacks, you can give more power if you stay in the saddle, because your wheel stays on the ground in that section.
@Setarkos91 WTF are you saying? If your legs feel sore, you don't stay in the saddle on that part of the Muur, because otherwise you are standing still. It's just a known fact you can give more power there on the cobbles when you sit in your saddle. So i don't know why you write your comment, it makes no sense.
@FFXIHeat The queen? Paris-Roubaix is the queen of the classics. They call it la Reine for a reason you know. Which means queen. And the Ronde, Luik-Bastenaken-Luik and Giro di Lombardia are also more prestigious to win than Milan-San Remo. Might me the longest, but it's an easy classic compared to the 4 I just named.
Longer perhaps, but the Flemish bergs have a much more steep gradient. The Ronde van Vlaanderen is a much harder race than Milan-San Remo. Poggio is really a piece of cake, I've ridden over it without breaking a sweat. Can't say the same about the Koppenberg!
@kikkers123 oh yeah, that right, thats why every great cobble rider (museeuw, van petegem, boonen, ballan, hoste, ...) stood up straight and NOT sitting down...
Get your facts straight. Milan-San Remo doesn't have big climbs. The Poggio is easy and they go on it with the big ring ;) That Tour de Suisse you're talking about had no mountains in it, it was a hilly race with lot's of time trials hence Cancellara won it. No surprise that Tony Martin was second there. His performance at the worlds in Mendrisio was great though. Anyway, Boonen is on a super year at the moment, looking forward to a fourth P-R victory.
@kikkers123 I am not one of those, claiming he used a motor, but look at all the other riders: nobody stayed in the saddle in that section. I think a motor is unlikely but it sure looks sick how he pedals up there as if it was flat.
@seano185 pfff , he s changing gear , if you knew anything about bikes , you would know that the gear stick is just behind the break so thats where the "pressing" comes from
The part where Canc attacks is so steep, that it's way better to stay in the saddle ! Boonen made a big mistake, your wheel starts to dance when it's that steep and you lose speed. Totally normal what Canc is doing !
@MrSvenox Ça prend un tube de selle de 31.6mm (ce que le Tarmac n'a pas) et ça pèse 4.2lbs.. Donc l'accusation de Cassani est simplement de la jalousie pure et siple
when you go down hill,, get the energie,,less braking en up hill or when it's flat,, take the energie motor can also be just to make energie but still 40 watt ..where do you put the battery,, or what is the battery,,the frame.whahaha battery's to power a 40watt motor,,the motor,,and the bike and make it 7kg,, and make it look like a normaal bike WHAT DO YOU THINK..??
@FFXIHeat Oh, I'm not trying to downplay Cancellara here :P He's a great great cyclist. But I'm Belgian, so I'd rather see a Belgian cyclist win :p Philippe Gilbert will be a hard one to beat at Lombardia though ;o
@FFXIHeat Meh, winning Milan-San Remo ain't that special. Sure it's called a monument, but in the end it's just a long flat stage that usually end in a bunch sprint. Sometimes a puncheur wins, but it's pretty hard to do(2008 Milan-San Remo had a different final then other editions by the way). Cancellara is not a climber. Just like Philippe Gilbert is not a climber. Just amazing puncheurs. With Philippe being the best puncheur in the current peloton.
Don't worry, that post wasn't even worth reacting on ;) Just saying Poggio is easy and Boonen has been second and third in San Remo before, so he had no problem with Poggio as well.
le seul exemple de mec en montagne grimpant le cul sur la selle c'est Ullrich et il n'avancait pas comme un avion comme Cancellara!!!Le différentiel avec Boonen est trop énorme d'un seul coup!!
I don't think its fair to just accuse him with no evidence but you can see why people are suspicious. its the way he manages to stay in the saddle on a section that no other riders does whilst still going faster than all of them
I am sorry but this video show the most blatant truth behind the Fabian Engine Conspiracy. Everyone in the cycling world knows Fabian cant climb out of his bed let alone a graded cobble stone ascent. And physically speaking he is way to big to be climbing that fast and out climbing Boonen like that. Look at Fabian in the Tour de France, he was dropped in milliseconds. Fabian CHEATED!
Fool. Cancelllara can climb just fine. He regularly powers up graded slopes, and has been in the shake up on mountain top finishes when he has had reason to. What he cannot do is at all hang with the hardcore climbers on extreme mountains day after day on the Tour. So he expends his energies elsewhere - winning time trials, humiliating breakaways, and all kinds of super-domestique work.
I DO NOT BELIEVE IN CANCELLARA SINCE THE DAY I LOOKED AT A VIDEO WHERE HE WAS RIDING EXCESSIVELY FASTER THAN THE OTHER BIKERS IN PAVE. I THINK HE IS A CHEATER TOO.
@Setarkos91 I'm from Belgium, I live 20 kilometers from the Muur and I have ridden it 100 times. Where Canc attacks, you can give more power if you stay in the saddle, because your wheel stays on the ground in that section.
Was it a motor? Or just a special high gear?
His power away in Paris Roubaix of the same year was equally as suspiciously impressive.
Boonen run out of drugs
An incredible show by Cancellara. When the helicopter picks him up he's so far ahead of Boonen that it is just over. Can't wait for the 2011 race.
@Setarkos91 WTF are you saying? If your legs feel sore, you don't stay in the saddle on that part of the Muur, because otherwise you are standing still.

He makes cycling uphill look so easy.
@T1mm0s Ze gebruiken de beelden die Sporza levert, maar het logo van Nederland 1 staat rechtsboven.
It was scary to see how quickly Spartacus gapped Boonen. That's how you win a bike race, alone!
@FFXIHeat

Has his bike an internal electrical engine? I have readen about this in other video
motor in Cancellara"s bike, they looked very strange how he dropped Boonen from 2.30 to 2.50
He has a turbo boost on , on that climb attack>>
@kikkers123 oh yeah, that right, thats why every great cobble rider (museeuw, van petegem, boonen, ballan, hoste, ...) stood up straight and NOT sitting down...

3:27 the camera guy doesn't realize how far ahead he is already!
@foku2b well said. An impressive example of perfect control, awesome race savvy and power. He will take some beating tomorrow.
@seano185 pfff , he s changing gear , if you knew anything about bikes , you would know that the gear stick is just behind the break so thats where the "pressing" comes from
2:35 is the money shot. Game over. So smooth, so powerful, what a legend!
Trust me. I know the value of Cancellaras work in the tour. This year he singlehandedly saved the little honour RadioShack had left
look at his hand when he brakes away
it is attached ti his arm by the wrist .......
Still watching it in 2013 =)
@hagenar It was very bad idea to have a Snickers at that particular moment in Paris-Roubaix
Nobody would be watching this in 2017 if it wasn’t for all of the mechanical doping drama
The part where Canc attacks is so steep, that it's way better to stay in the saddle !

Canc hit 1450W at some point of this ride... must have been when dropping boonen like a rock. Unbelievable.
i can't believe the power he used on the attack !
@seano185 like shifting into a higher gear?? Oh no it's a 300 hp motor! Wow how did they fit that into the frame?? lol
Can you substanciate what you are implying ? I doubt it !!! So suggest you shut the feck up instead of printing garbage comments ........
when you go down hill,, get the energie,,less braking
en up hill or when it's flat,, take the energie
motor can also be just to make energie

WHAT DO YOU THINK..??
Cancellara is a great man to have on a Tour team, but i think Tony Martin will be the new Cancellara.
You appear to think describing Cancellara as doing "super-domestique work" on the tour is somehow pretentious?
I think you'll find it isn't.
probably just trying to slow down the pace by taking the front.... on the other hand, there's really not much to share in a climb like that...
EXCELENTE
@MTOTOwaNYAYO no ones catching spatacus cause no one else has a motor
LOL "...and all kinds of super-domestique work" that mere mortals do not understand.
Unvorstellbar.
boonen was in too high of a gear. i think cancellara had a better cadence and that was what made the difference on the climb...
@FFXIHeat
Oh, I'm not trying to downplay Cancellara here :P He's a great great cyclist. But I'm Belgian, so I'd rather see a Belgian cyclist win :p
Philippe Gilbert will be a hard one to beat at Lombardia though ;o

@CarveWaysk8team
absolutely correct.
Is Ciclyng Electric ???
He shown 600 watts on that climb attack>>
Don't worry, that post wasn't even worth reacting on ;)
Just saying Poggio is easy and Boonen has been second and third in San Remo before, so he had no problem with Poggio as well.
Damn. Sitting.
In 3'52'' you can hear the sound of the engine of his doped bike. Ups :-(
2:54- "Cancellara is over the 'tup'"?!!!
cancellara didnt attack, boonen just couldnt keep up
He rode the last part like an ITT. No one is catching Spartacus
Boonen what in the world was you thinking Sitting on the wheel of Spartacus No way he's gone
Cancellara must change team to ride on S-Works and win again
@FreeMTrider INO HOW THERES A VID ON YOU TUBE TYPE IN FABIAN CANCELLARA MOTER AND CLICK THE FIRST ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pourquoi à chaque fois que quelqun est meilleur que les autres on l'accuse de triche!!
sick! impressive as hell
@VinceFox21: whatever dude ...
Should be an awesome Paris-Roubaix!!
I think boonen is maken a big mistake by standing on something that bumpy
"Er spielt mit Boonen." LOL
Cancellara unleashed his engine :)
Jezus
Cancellara is the motor.
@FFXIHeat i dissagree with everything you say, absolutely everything
@alioninthedesert only 5 more days to go :) Go Cancellara!
tour of flanders?????
he cheated
It doesn't look that suspicious to me. Boonen looks like he cracked and Cancellara was able to stay in his saddle.
I don't think its fair to just accuse him with no evidence but you can see why people are suspicious. its the way he manages to stay in the saddle on a section that no other riders does whilst still going faster than all of them
Hes a freacking machine
No rage! Cancellara is the best!
Va come una moto! :D:D:D:D
my god, 20%....
I am sorry but this video show the most blatant truth behind the Fabian Engine Conspiracy. Everyone in the cycling world knows Fabian cant climb out of his bed let alone a graded cobble stone ascent. Can you tell us who he really is? Herkules? Superman? The Almighty Cycling God?
We'll know if Cancellarra cheated on Tour of Flanders 2011.
Cancellara is much, much beter than boonen
well we all know how he did it now ...
I think you are shooting heroin...
meme un grimpeur pure ne peut demarrer de la sorte en restant assis dans une cote
Ah good.
SO HAWT!!!!
Sporza... met Hollandse commentaar?
he is better than him too
Doping doping doping!!! Climb once the Muur and you'll understand why i say doping... And Cancellara with Riis in the auto!!! pffffffff
Fool.
Cancelllara can climb just fine. He regularly powers up graded slopes, and has been in the shake up on mountain top finishes when he has had reason to.

you canot ride cobblestones whilst not on the saddle , you would slip , so please stop going on about the electric bike !
Doping
cancellara the cheater, forever and ever
I DO NOT BELIEVE IN CANCELLARA SINCE THE DAY I LOOKED AT A VIDEO WHERE HE WAS RIDING EXCESSIVELY FASTER THAN THE OTHER BIKERS IN PAVE. I THINK HE IS A CHEATER TOO.
