for those who really can’t make up their mind: lump sum 50%, then DCA the next 50%.

This method would probably get rid of most of the psychological barriers. What's weird is I've been holding onto cash for a few months even though I know lump-sum is more likely to do better over the long run.

Rob, I watch all of your videos and am glad to see so many LIVE episodes. They're chock full of great feedback and info and I didn't want to skip them due to their length but have been due to time. Now, with the handy timestamps I'm able to not forgo the content because of the bulkiness and can actually benefit from the specific content I wish to hear. This was a great tool. Thank you! Do you think you'd timestamp the other few past lives as well? It's not necessary, but if you had time that would really be beneficial! Great channel. Thank you for all you do.

TIAA Traditional has no fees. It is something like a stable value fund, never loses any value. Earning me approx 3-3.7 % depending on the "vintage" of the contribution..

Hi Rob. Thanks so much for the educational videos. Would you consider a video on Craig Israelsen’s 7/12 portfolio? I’m curious about your thoughts especially compared to a 3,4, or 5 fund portfolio. Thanks!

Remember, VTSAX is not an ETF but an actual mutual fund managed by a human, so the the expense is slightly more but not enough to really matter on medium to small amounts invested. The benefit it that is it tracks the all world index, giving more hedge than if it were merely the top 100 of our domestic S&P 500 for example. Is it better that VT or VTI? Slightly, but only perceptible in huge holdings of it. A billionaire or massive hedge fund would see a difference in the performance. But for regular folks, VT and VTI are the same as VTSAX.

Why are people buying mutual funds? There are ETFS for almost every strategy which are almost always less expensive and have tax advantage over mutual funds of not being forced to pay CG taxes annually.

AGNC is a mortgage REIT not an equity REIT. In other words it's pays well, but you're skating on thin ice. Whereas an equity REIT like Realty Income "O" generally pays less, but your principle is safe because it's real buildings being owned and operated, rather that mortgages which are theoretical.
