I also like the fact that Lauren could hit the low notes, showing her incredible range. For me, it's a tie!! I like each version for different reasons. Kelly vs loren's never enough is like demi lovato vs idina menzel's let it go. One is broadway and operatic while the other is pop and rhythmic. They both sound good though people couldnt just help but compare them. If Kelly (or Demi) would have sung the songs first people would have been biased in favor of these artists too.

What a hawk to cover Loren’s song so soon. Kelly’s high notes were so strong and solid and it pushed her version to the top of my “who sang the song the best” list. Loren’s expressions were 💯. I doubt I’ll find better. Vocally, Kelly snatched up that song out of Loren’s hand and spanked her with it. Yes it’s very different hence the word “reimagined.” She sings this song nearly entirely in her head voice with the exception of the last “for me” which is in a falsetto. This is a terribly hard song musically and vocally.
