I agree. From them being funny, and there bond. To there dedication to there music and how they write and produce there own songs and how they make there dances. And to how good there music is. They will have a special place in my heart, no matter what
The intricacies of their choreographies truly shines especially because of their ability to fully utilise their members’ numbers & various dancing styles
I forget how synchronized and just how their overall dancing is really good compared to other groups. Having 13 members while being this synchronized is insane. It shows you how amazing their teamwork and sportsmanship are. I hope I'm able to see them live someday.
manifesting this for you, hope you get to see them live one day! went their concert twice and cried so much, it was too beautiful wish i could see it again but covid :'(
fun fact, in the first verse of My My they reserve the 'flower petals falling' step from Fallin Flower because the lyrics are 'and so I blossom a new me'
we all can't deny it but seventeen definitely deserves the title of "The Theatre Kids of 3rd Gen Kpop" with the amount of details that they add into their works
@UCuUgylq8l64b2la9-76A7Ww Of course! I think it is no surprise that SVT had one of the most complex and beautiful choreography in all of K-pop. However, it is often seen at award show, especially MAMA, that they never actually get any award for those. MAMA ussually invites SVT just for the sake of having a good lineup, without giving them awards or by giving them made up awards to not make them seem bad. This could be seen in the 2019 MAMA, where SVT is given the 'Breakthrough' award, a title that has never exist or mentioned in the previous MAMA, which make sense since its a made up award. And they also did not receive the 'Best Male Performance' during that year. I'm not saying that the winner of that award, which is BTS, sucks at dancing. But all of the kpop community can admit, that Fear and Hit, is truly the choreography of the year. So to put it simple, SVT is oftenly used for views and getting attention from public at awards shows, but have never been given a proper credit for it. I hope this can help and I'm sorry if there is a misinformation
Not gonna lie ... but SVT choreographies are always on another level. The way they always express the song through the choero. The synchronisation of the group is insane and so satisfying to watch. You will end up being mesmeraized by them over and over again.
This is the reason why they have the title of "The Theatre Kids of K-Pop" Period Personally, I enjoy their music while also enjoying their performances and it just hit different (your music are amazing as always Woozi sweety, I love you)
Their choreos never fail to blow me away. The fact that any of them could pull of the center perfectly and then their synchronisation is *chef's kiss* They are the Kings of Choreography and I am never going back on those words.
seventeen definitely inspired a lot of 4th gen groups with their choreography, lyrics/song and even going seventeen. One of the most talented groups yet they're so underappreciated. Their formations are so complex and their choreo's are always so creative and artistic. They're amazing at expressing emotions through their dancing, they make stories and perform to the next level. I wish they were more heard of, such an underrated and amazing group. They have a special place in my heart
I love how they give the right part of the choreography to each person, it makes it even more beautiful because there is an added charm of each of them. i love it when svt does the shadow move or the collecting members move in the choreo 🩷 i also like it when they add in childrens games into the choreo like in mymy..
I feel like their Japanese songs are so experimental and almost artistic? Maybe it’s because they don’t perform it as much on stage as Korean songs and maybe camerawork and such is not involved as much?? (this is totally my interpretation) so they’re able to create these really artistic choreography where they’re really testing their limits. I also really like how the concept of their albums and songs are incorporated SOOO well in the choreo, u can really tell they really care and enjoy dancing and creating the choreo, seventeen is just so amazing, I love them sm😭😭😭💕💕💕💕💕
i have noticed too the difference with Japanese music videos and choreography. it's really interesting to see how different it is from their usual settings. and i love how beautiful and meaningful it is.
i usually tend to focus on just one member at a time everytime I watch dance practices but seventeen's dance practices really makes me focus on the whole group because their choreography and formation is art
i wanna go back in time and stan seventeen...... they are a masterpiece... i soo love them as dancers singers entertainers idols.... everything is awesome.
i love how ever since their debut svt has been influencing the scene with beautiful group silhouettes and moving part choreo that just flows from one member to another
Honestly in the way they dance, they move and how much they’re in sync. there is so much trust between them because without it, people would be late, or bump into each other but with practice and time made to where they are which is about perfect. I honestly love the concept of 24H and Fallon Flower and i’ve even learned how to do home run which i hope to do a cover of in a studio one day. and Though most of these choreos are recent, Don’t wanna Cry will always be a Fav and special in my heart
There synchronisation is just put of this world. The synchronisation is so on spot that i feel like they r mirrors of one person it's just amazing 😍😍😍😍
I love watching these because you get to really appreciate how intricate the choreography is in a straight forward view rather than flipping camera views and angles. They are outstanding.
I can't explain why but my favorite choreography has to be hitori janai, just something about the song and the choreo make me feel so warm and its so beautiful to watch
Honestly, every svt’s choreography is amazing. It's so hard to pick a song with the best choreography. Every genre of music svt creates has its own choreography. never doubt that svt aka the king of dance and the king of synchronization
i agreed with all of the points in this video!!! seriously svt was literally born to perform... you can tell how much practice and time went into each of their choreos not just to be a movement done with the music but they make performances and stories to go along with the music that just elevate their performances to the next level... no matter how good of an idol you are, they must've spent hours and hours practicing and refining each choreo to be close to perfect as possible. moreover its hard to come up with catchy moves that flow perfectly with the music not to mention the countless improvisations and formation changes.. svt gods fr
i think the reason they influence many moves in dances nowadays is because you can pull it of with many members. its rare to see a group with so much members back then but now you have so many groups with 10+ members so yeah thats my point
Seventeen Is good at everything honestly. There dancing even of the hiphop and vocal team there dancing skills are so good. There rapping, there dancing, there vocals everything is so perfect. From having stable vocals, with hard choreographies and having a uncompared stage presence. There synchronisation despite having a lot of members, having satisfying and unique choreographies, having iconic and bop songs. They are a self producing group. And simply wonderful. There enjoyment and passion for there career and fans despite being in the industry for a long time in uncompared, they're still as fresh as if they are a rookie group.
Their choreos never disappoint!! My favorite is 24H. You can see how much compatibility they all have together, as to why they are kings of synchronization!
I knew he's not the best dancer in svt but his performance in left and right blew me away!! He clearly enjoyed the stage and his expressions says it all. I love the way he dances the chorus choreo too literally embodied the word swag and cool
Absolutely love this video. I can't really be sad that you didn't include my favorite choreo (Call Call Call), because SVT really doesn't have a bad choreography in their whole library. They're really so good at giving lines/center to the right person at the right time - which I suppose we can really thank Woozi for in the production process of recording songs! And of course, the fact that they never stick to a certain genre/mood/concept really proves how all 13 members are true all-rounders.
and even with this group as full inspiration, there's no other group who cares this way for amazing formations and variety on the performances, seventeen best group periodt.
I'm still mesmerized by their Falling Flower choreography. It's the most satisfying thing to watch. Like you said they are not just dancing but they look like one . FALLING FLOWER IS A TRUE MASTERPIECE.
Watching this, I realize that they REALLY know how to use each member's strengths at the right times. Every time someone is in the center it's because they can perform their best there. That, and that Vernon's dance is severely underrated. :)
I wish you added Getting Closer 'cause that was another bomb. But yes! I agreed with all the points in this vid. Fallin flower and 24H as one of my faves!!
I want to tell you that I used your video in my inspiration presentation in college and I wanted to thank you this video I got a really really great grade and people who don't like Kpop were super impressed by my boys. Forever a carat!

You seriously made my day with this comment. I hope from here on only good things will meet you in your studies. And thank you!
What I especially love about their choreos, is that they interact with each other and make scenes within the dance. It’s not just: Oh I’m center I do my thing.. it’s more like: Hey have you seen him? He’s great too! And the fact that most of them are so beautiful (I’m looking at you fallin flower) makes it even better!
Svt's choreos r so different bc they focus on creating a beautiful image (the vines/flowers in fallin flower, the clock hands in 24 hr, Broadway show in home run, forming T H X in gomapda, drinking poison in fear etc). They specialize in intricate and intense moves rather than bone breaking ones and I find it so much more pleasing to watch as an audience
the satisfaction and pride I felt watching this video. seventeen are truly the legend of chorography. 24H is my all-time favorite along with homerun they're so cool to watch 💗
You know it's fascinating because they are 13 different individuals, but when the music starts, they move as one & is super synchronized (you'll decide that all are main dancers). I have never seen a group that are all-rounders & self-made 💎
Idek how to describe their choreos it's just so UNREAL?? Like Joshuas part in Fallin flower where the other members r like vines intertwining Joshua the flower then unwinding again and the 12 hands in 24 hr (man I love the Japanese releases). I love how you make videos about all the best things about them, (not that they have any bad stuff 😫🔥) great ways to introduce them on a positive note to even noncarats 💕

One choreography that I would add to this list is "Light a Flame" that gave me goosebumps.
Same!!
Agree! Different vibe from the 96 liners
we all can't deny it but seventeen definitely deserves the title of "The Theatre Kids of 3rd Gen Kpop" with the amount of details that they add into their works
