Amazing video. Thank you.
Thanks for the video.. I was born on 94.. .Is it Shanggrila Resort? From local Penang girl.
Yes, the hotel at the beginning is Shangri-La Rasa Sayang. I stayed next door at the Palm Tree Court in 1976 with my parents as a child and used the Rasa Sayang pool as I believe they were sister hotels. PTC now demolished and the Rasa Sayang has expanded onto its land with a spa and kindergarten when I went back in 2009. Also has a dual-carriage way out front but I guess that’s progress for you.
@@dave900ssred I thought the hotel next door was called Palm Beach. I worked there in 1990 but perhaps it had another name prior to that.😊
@Ricky Ang Hi Ricky, you're absolutely correct, my mistake, it was Palm Beach.
Palm Tree Court is at the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and Spa in Dubai which I've also had the privilege to stay in though this time as an adult with my children rather than as a child with my parents.
Thanks for putting me right 👍
Tq for uploading. Amazing
This was real Malaysia. See what happening in Malaysia nowadays.it's really sad!
