About Us
Welcome to Life Adventure Projects, we’re Andy and Sophie and last year we made the decision to work on changing our lives for the better. We’d grown tired and weary of the rat race, only living for the weekend or looking forward to a holiday once a year, so we made a plan to start working on projects to improve our lives.

Having watched you guys from the start & seeing each stage of the project it's not until you see the time-lapse, you realise how much work you've put into the build 🛠
give yourselves a pat on the back for what you've achieved so far 👏
Thanks buddy, as always really do love your positivity and support for us! That beer won’t be long now! ❤️❤️🙌
Great to see a, quick summary like this, reminds me of how far you have come. Which is a very long way. As Churchill said, this is not the end, it is not the beginning of the end but it is the end of the beginning
Love that quote, thank you Dad! Thank god it’s the end of the beginning finally! 😊😊
It's like Weaver birds weaving their nest..❤
Well done so far the journey continues ❤
Hi you two, I have a suggestion for your van build that I have seen on a few vans over the years. Perhaps think about fitting a small combination key safe somewhere accessible, but not obvious, to the van. That way if you decide to, let's say, go paddle boarding for example you don't have to take the van keys out on the water with you. Simply lock them in the key safe and enjoy the water without the fear of the key disappearing to the sea floor and being stranded. I've seen some vans where the owners have had a small panel cut and hinged to make a door then mounted the key safe behind it to hide the safe from inquisitive people but I guess under the van or behind a bumper could be an easier solution.
Hey 👋🏻 Really like this idea, so basically a safe under the van out of clear sight. Legendary suggestion! Thank you ❤️❤️
Love this :) I really want an electric totally off grid camper
Thanks so much 😊 yeah do it! It’s a great idea and a great project to work on. Thanks for watching 💛
Great editing skills 👍
You both should be so proud of yourselves how far you both come to nearly completing your beautiful home van build 🚐
Thank you for taking us with you on your journey ❤
Thanks Hope, it should not be long now! Then into some van travels! Woohoo! ❤️❤️
Wow watching this time laps sort of hides the truth. It isn't as easy as you think. You have done amazing work on your conversion. Watching you videos and seeing the highs and lows. I didn't get that with this video. It made you look like camper conversion pros which of course you will be once you completed this conversion. Looking forward to more videos.
I know, Timelapse's are so deceiving!! lol - Thanks for watching and hope you had a fabulous Christmas!
Great to see it change so much in the short vid. This is also why time-lapse make it look way way easier than it actually is!
Stick at it guys you're doing great 👍
I got my fingers 🤞 for you having a night out in it fairly soon 😊
Thank you! Yeah a night out is not long now as we have ordered the mattress, exciting times!!
You are right about Timelapse, I watched it and even thought we made it look easy… it so isn’t though haha
Excellent one of the best vlogs iv seen , and shows how far you have come and the amount of work you have achieved, well done good luck 👍🏴🇬🇧🇨🇦
Thanks so much Micky! ❤️🤚🙌
This is a super job man, you should be proud of yourselves!
Thanks Loz, really appreciate it and you watching! 🤚
Bro, your video for a start is amazing!, so many many skills you have! The whole journey you are on is also amazing!! Love you bud! xx
Thanks Bro! ❤️ We are getting there, slowly, but progress is progress! Big love back at you! Xx
Very interesting! Keep on going! 🎉
Did you include all the cockups 🤣🤣🤣 Just kidding. Great to see the progress. I'm learning a lot from you both and garnering that energy to get my own project started.
Haha oh Wagner, I could make a video just on van build cock ups, in fact that could be a fun video! 😂😂 Get going on that project, we believe in you!
Awesome!
Im waiting for continue
Hopefully soon! We have been mega tied down due to house moving stuff plus our day jobs. But the kitchen unit is nearly complete!
@@lifeadventureprojects Perfect!
Great video, 👍 have to say that roof vent was a complete dogs dinner though lol oh well no one will see it
😂
😂😂
Superb!!
Thank you for watching and leaving us a comment! Glad you enjoyed 😊
I’ve recently bought a 2016 yellow Sprinter with the reg LM66 😊.
Oh my gosh - van siblings perhaps haha! Are you planning to convert it?
Yes in the early stages of converting it. Shall go back and watch your back catalogue.
Handy if you can find a nice van to start with. I do hope that isn't the 2.1 engine in that. The 2.7 straight six was the best Sprinter engine. Could pull a full load easily and fuel consumption was good for such a powerful van.
Fascinating to watch, like n sub. 👍
Great video guy's! Followed you from the start of the Ray build, been brilliant so far, may it continue yet for a while, 2 genuine people that don't always get it right the first time but always get there with determination 👌👌 can't wait to meet you both somewhere on our travels one day
All the best Lee
Thanks again Lee, we owe you a couple pints so looking forward to meeting you on the travels! We are feeling good about the van at the moment, feels like we got over a hurdle. But oh boy what a learning curve!
@@lifeadventureprojects you won't miss us, it's the black van with red stripes and a life adventure projects sticker in the back window 🤣 mines a pint of Thatcher's please 👌🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂 we love that you have a sticker!!! 🤚
"outstanding" now enjoy
Thanks 😊 really appreciate it! Hopefully we’ll be out enjoying it soon!
Amazing build :).
Could you send me a link with the framing bed please?
Thanks
Go to our video Installing a Campervan Bed, I think the thumbnails says “changing our minds”. The link for the frame is in there.
Thanks for watching!
That's a DHL van 😊
Sure is! 😂
Great. Content Nice Work , some people enjoy Timelapse format but really difficult to follow work being done on van ..Any Chances of slowing down maybe to one third of speed on same vid ?? Thanks
Hey Ken! Thanks so much for tuning in and leaving a comment, we really appreciate it! That’s a good question - I’ll bring this to Andy’s attention and see if we can! Thanks 😊
Andy has just mentioned that you can actually change the speed that you watch the video on RUclips - so you’ll be able to slow it down on there!
That Would be awesome , I can Check back again soon thanks

¿Qué material habéis usado en el baño?
Hi there, sorry for the delay! We should have everything linked in the description! We used a tanking kit (the blue stuff), then white plastic lining and trim!
Muchas gracias,@@lifeadventureprojects
No recuerdo haber visto eso aquí en España pero preguntaré... para un pequeño baño en el jardín. @@lifeadventureprojects
Like for friendly wife 🎉
Please could you tell me where you got the bed frame?
Hey, if you go to the video which has a thumbnail saying “changing our minds” the link is in there.
Hi did you powder coat your unistrut on the roof cheers
Hey Kieron, we painted the struts using outdoor metal paint, spray can stuff. Worked really well.
@@lifeadventureprojects thank you great camper by the way, love the channel
I am looking to make a start on a project like this, i just wondered how long it took you if it was evenings and weekends?
Hey 👋🏼 😊 thanks for your comment. So we’ve had the van since July 2022 and we’re still going with it, so over a year so far! We reckon another couple of months and we should be finished. We’ve only really done weekends on it and obviously have had some other things to do here and there, but it definitely has taken longer than we expected!
@lifeadventureprojects cool. I won't be done anytime soon then 😂. I'm going to be looking for a van in the next few weeks, hard to come across anything that isn't white though!
👍🚐😎
