Staying home in the city, prob no worries. But I've driven down to Springfield in this kind of weather. We saw at least 10 vehicles (including a car towing a boat, WTH?) off the road. It's totally put me off winter trips. So if you're lucky, no long range drives. Not mention 2 hour commutes when the city drive home is less than10 miles. Yeah I did it, but it's not very pleasant.
is that something new ? lived in Alsip for a couple of winters a long time ago and it was just normal then.. maybe , the new gear just could not handle cold weather..
The front is stalling out, but the moisture keeps coming in from the south. we are have thunder and rain 8:08 am Snowstorm 2024 reminiscent of 1978 in Chicagoland. Glad to say I do not live there now but in all honesty I would like to be snowed in but not like what happened in 1967
