I have up to date hardware and a game that is like 3GBs shouldn't be stressing hardware so easily. Number of paths and the districts seem to be when the game starts multithreading the cpu.
PC parts in description are outdated. He build new PC last year I think. I remember it was some really good CPU and there was community post about this but it seems you can't scroll further than 2 months ago so no idea what it is

I had seen a lot of videos of Timberborn gameplay, but it was this series that convinced me to actually buy the game. It is the most fun and satisfying game I have played in many years.
Making 95 % of the video: 1-2 days Putting together fitting inuendos and acronyms: 2-3 days That’s why we can’t have a new video every other day 🤷🏽♂️ but it wouldn’t be the same without them. Please never stop Skye!

I've found the worst of the lag comes from the path. If you build all the path you need then connect it the wider distract path it will only lag for a second. If you build the path out from the wider distract it will keep lagging. So don't build path from the district but to it and it will help limit the amount of lag. Same goes for building, its the path highlighting all across the map that is creating the lag.

Its nuts to see the city till grow outwards, the sealing is gonna be insane. XD Figured you would rise more of the infrastructure to like, compact it so the area that you need to protect is smaller. This dome is gonna be MASSIVE, I can already feel the acronym coming.

I totally understand you. Sometimes, it's good to take a step back from a game before you overdo it and end up hating the game that you once loved and had fun playing. That happened with me with Red Dead Online. I have over 2000 hours on that game, but I played it so much and got into fights with some people (just because I was winning horse races and they were not) that I started to hate the thought of having to log on to play. I think it's for the best the time that I would normally play it, I am now sitting down to watch shows on Disney Plus or a film on DVD as I do some cross-stitching,

I think it's fairly simple why the beavers and bots split into two districts. They couldn't decide whether the B.A.P.S. or the S.H.A.F.T.S. were the more impressive builds in the colony! That said, burnout is a real thing, and mental health is always important! No matter how long it takes to return to Colony Atlantis, I for one will be waiting patiently.
Ctrl+mouse wheel to lower the "ceiling" and not have the dome parts in the way when you're trying to look at the SHAFTs. Also, a line of corn got laid in the secondary canola fields. Love the content Skye!
With how much maths and RD you make for Timberborn, I wonder if you have ever played Factorio. Because I feel you either LOVE it, or its the bane of your existence, trying to keep that factory running efficiently. XD
Yeah, I fully understand where you're coming from. It can be mentally draining to play this much of any single game. I'm curious what you'll be playing in the mean time? Any ideas? Planet Coaster 2 perhaps? Might be up your alley.

I have a suggestion for the district names. The idea is to put everything underwater ala Atlantis, right? Meropis is a fictional island from the work Philippica, by the Greek writer Theopompus, written as a parody of Plato's Atlantis. So my suggestion is Atlantis and Meropis as the district names.

The districts can be Neighboring Uniform Territories. You can have a Left NUT and a Right NUT.
