Xabi Alonso has won everything
World Cup , euros, champions league, Bundesliga as player and manager wow
Funny, how everyone is talking about Dortmund possibly beating them when they also still have to play against Stuttgart, currently no.3 with the same number of points as Munich, who want to secure that CL spot. It was a draw during the first half of the season and a close win for Leverkusen during the German cup (3:2). That last one was a great match, very entertaining and no other team had challenged Leverkusen quite as much before. Both of them play the most attractive football in the Bundesliga this season.
Florian WiRTZ is the player of the season for me
If Germany win euro he have very good chance to win balloon de or
@@sudiptagolui8794 Definitely not ! Otherwise Lewandowski and Haaland would have won it as well ... (And there is still a chance Messi might take it 🤔😬 )..
How much is florian witz worth?
@@myp0h 120 mill
@lws7394 did Lewandowski or Haaland win anything with their national teams? It's not comparable
I feel like they’re going lose against Dortmund even though it will not matter and no one care Xabi and his team did the unthinkable so far 👏🏼👏🏼🙌🏻
I think wil draw
@@Karl.james10yes I also thought about this earlier in the morning. Leverkusen want this run to keep going so I think a draw as well
Draw is possible but players lose motivation one they achieve the task but Xabi is going to be the Key to keep them motivated otherwise I see them losing that game
@@Karl.james10 You called it…👏🏼👏🏼 Man this team will not let go and never Give up 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Hopefully they keep this winning streak going
One of the Greatest moments...
Coolest most impressive story since Leicester City ❤
Incredible xabi alonso, wow jan has said everything about him congratulation to you xabi
Xabi Alonso is the most talked about person on the internet
Atlast Someone has ended the Domination of Bayern Munich in Bundasliga... Congratulations to Bayern Leverkusen
As ever, Jan puts it in perspective so well.
City fan here, very proud of Leverkusen, always nice to win ur first league title, i just wish BVB won their title last season so that we could have went back to back seasons with a different winner that isn't Bayern, I hope this is a new era for the Bundesliga
Leverkusen did it without money and 115 charges
Well this makes the Bundesliga more competitive and interesting. Bayern Munich will come back stronger with a new coach and maybe win it in the next season. But a really great achievement. Another great coach in Europe
Great analysis, thank you so much.
Harold is contemplating joining psg
What a team and absolutely formidable in the world
When alonso took over last season they were 17 fighting relegation incredible
It is important to note though, that nobody really understood how they even ended up down there. They were doing great the previous season, were playing internationally, had barely lost any players, and all of a sudden, they were struggling and had slipped all the way to the bottom of the league. It was just weird to begin with.
Stuttgart we’re nearly relegated last season and now they are tied with Munich on points
I think they will play even better from now on, since they've no pressure and can make history by going unbeaten.
or they can become complacent and rest players cos they have two more competitions. I would rather prefer if they win all three trophies instead of the unbeaten run.
@@kukunase1686i’d go for both or at least the unbeaten run cuz theyre the favorites for both cups. No team in the cups will beat them
@jencycarranza4957 of they would like both but you have to be realistic its not good for a league if a team goes without losing a whole season it makes the league a bit less interesting now that Leverkusen have won the league they should rest players for the europa league forgot about this unbeaten stuff and focus on getting the "treble".
@@jackbauer5455 I would say in this case its the opposite. For years people haven't paid much attention to the Bundesliga because only one club was winning the league every season. If a team not only ends Bayern's dominance, but also sets the first unbeaten record ever in German football history, it would draw the attention of the whole world. Arsenal going unbeaten in the EPL didn't make the league any less interesting...
@@tommurphy5503 I agree, it also makes their matches in the Bundesliga more interesting, "who will be the first team, who beat them". Would be a different story, if bayern would go unbeaten.
ah man, this wasn't in the script for Harry Kane!
The team must mirror with the coach....Xavi humility and attitude and character is incredible and ability to manage people.
Well done Senor Alonso
He'd be mad to leave this team ,I've always thought leverkusen were brilliant a now well shut got a can't wait to see them in the champions league and probably win the Eurupa as well
Can we now state how amazing the invincibility that Wenger achieved is...
Alanso is about to make that look ordinary
Bravo.
Madrid 1931-1932.
Ricardo Zamora/Jacinto Quincoces
The Kane factor pulled them through
They should talk more about Wirtz. Best Player in the Bundesliga!
I truly hope he stays one more year at Leverkusen
Then the sky is the absolute limit - and he will be picking a team with the infrastructure, freedom and budget to really move the game to a whole new level
Dortmund are trying to make top 4, so it will be tricky.
Kaiserslautern is in bundesliga 2, Jan
Xabi Alonso is like water...He came and changed everything..
Hope dont be 1 hit wonder season like leicester or Napoli, fans want consistency back to back champions etc i.e Bayern munich, anyways congrats again Leverkusen
Congratulations 🎊 europe league up next!
alonso is bigger than bayern
What?? No chance
@@debayanpal3181 James is talking about Bayern Leverkusen.
(not about Bayer 04 München 🤣 )..
BREAKING NEWS: HARRY KANE ISSUES 'COME AND GET ME' PLEA TO BAYER
😂😂😂
Xavi Alonso must be celebrated
Would love to see City vs Bayern Leverkusen 🔥
Haaland will ghost it this match happens
Bayer - not Bayern. Bayer is the name of the sponsoring pharmaceutical company. Bayern is the german name of the federal state Bavaria, where the city Munich and the club FC Bayern München is located.
City would destroy them over 2 legs
It’s worth mentioning Bayern also won the league unbeaten once or twice, they just got beaten after winning the league due to resting players for champions league games.
Then they didn’t win the league unbeaten. No matter the reason
they were never unbeaten
That's not truly winning the league unbeaten though. They might have been unbeaten when they mathematically clinched the title, but if they lost a game after then they still lost a game, so it's not unbeaten
Stop talking about it instead enjoy that such Things are still possible abd still Happens.
All Europe looked at Leicester a few years and even Fans from other countrys hoped they bring it home.
Now Its Leverkusen and Europe looked again und everyone hoped they will go till the Finishline as #1.
This is what Football means, in Munich oder Man City they clapping on theier shoulders, Job done.
In Leverkusen the Stadium exploded and everyone could see what it means for them, this is Fottball was made for.
in Munich the Players maybe know we're they were when they did win the Triple but not for every Championship, in Leicester or Leverkusen the daughters and sons of These Fans will know wich Players was in the Squad and who was the Manager
Being mathematical champions when you’re unbeaten is what actually matters tbh, but it doesn’t sound as nice.
Shows how narrative is so important in how people perceive football
XAVI mast class
Steve ohh Steve They are not Liverpool who got banged by Man City at home after winning title early...4-0
Pish pash posh 😂😂
Oh the top 5 leagues should be every one
I truly hope and wish that REAL MADRID FACE LEVEKRUSEN IN THE SUPER CUP FINALS!!!!
REMEMBER THIS!!!!!
Boniface
its funny how the media talks about xabi but i don't know a single player from leverkusen
Some you might know: Boniface, Grimaldo, Frimpong and Wirtz, the last probably being *the* upcoming german striker. It's even more impressive when you think about it since they managed to be so dominant with hardly any big names
I congratulate him 🎉. Beat everyone else except Bayern and Dortmund, and you pretty much win that league. In the Premier you have to beat the big six plus any other hidden powered team at the bottom...
They beat Bayern 3:0
Please don't bring up that famers league.
After 12 titles Bayern Munich, it was time having a new champion in Germany, the truth I was not watching anymore, sure nothing wrong with the league nice attacking football, but how boring only the same team was winning.
11 not 12
People will continue to not watch :D Bayern will buy everything from Leverkusen next season. They did this always when Dortmund won. Bought Götze, Hummels, Lewa, etc. or when RB Leipzig was close to winning (bought the coach). There are no monopolistic laws for sports unluckily.
@@robertmusil1107lewa was free transfer
@@robertmusil1107 This time probably not. Xabi Alonso turned down both Bayern and Liverpool, Wirtz has long been a target of Bayern's and he's always stayed at Leverkusen, and there are many young talents that want to continue to grow at a club where they know they will play regularly, as well as more experienced talents like Xhaka and Hoffman who might not get offers from larger clubs because of their age
This is almost the same as what Xavi did for Barca came in mid way the season took the team from a low spot in the league then win it the next season granted Xavi didn't do it undefeated ( potentially ) and he made history with the most clean sheets, yet Xavi don't get talked about in the same light
Xavi didn't get talked about because Barcelona is a title wining club. They have over a hundred years of winning history predating Xavi becoming the manager, so there was always the expectation of success from him. Xabi Alonso taking Leverkusen to end Bayern's 11 year chokehold by winning the Bundesliga, with a club that has not only never won it, but been mocked for their failed attempts at winning it throughout history is a massive achievement. Not only that, but they are still in 2 other competitions, and have gone on a historic unbeaten streak all season. This is nothing like Xavi going in at Barcelona...
Madrid fan here, but what Xavi achieved is also remarkable, and him and Xabi will lead the era of legendary managers, for sure. But this is not the place to compare him to Xabi, what he has achieved this season with leverkusen transcends everything else.
@@galactico7194 Also a Madrid here, let's be honest, we fumbled La Liga last season. We were better than Barca last seaon.
@@jimmywalker8354 Absolutely. Not Denying that, we blew it in the key phases of the season. But Barca with all their problems were quite consistent throughout their season. Also, you have to respect how Barca have been playing this season, credits to Xavi more for this season than the last.
@@galactico7194 Xavi has done fantastic with what he has had to work with
I thought we'll see Alonso
Nice clickbait

29 games ???? aren't they suppose to play 38 games like every other league ?? SMFH
its 34 league games in the bundesliga because they have 18 teams... are you clueless or what? Bundesliga has 18 teams unlike other leagues with 20 teams in it.
Zero ball knowledge
@@kukunase1686 France too has 18 teams, now
why is the american in the panel..stikcing out like a sore thumb..someone who calls soccer should not be on tv analyzing football.
let it go... that is a tired argument
Fucking sheet analysis 😅😅😅
I think Leverkusen will lose their next 3 league games... all tough ones to Dortmund, Stuttgart and Frankfurt.
Who cares
Care enough to comment.
cry
you
It's an amazing achievement. He took a club from relegation zone to first place unbeaten next season. If you can't understand how difficult it is you're a pathetic clown.
You it thems. Your life is so boring you have to cry around everything
