Today's trucks just don't have that soul. Just seeing the keys hanging from the column made my hart melt a little. It will be nice to see this truck alive again when the restoration is done.
I was 8 years old! I knew I rooted for the Dallas Cowboys, Hulk Hogan, and Bigfoot! At least two of them won alot!!! Glad Bigfoot didn't sellout to Monster Jams!! His trucks can still perform at any show in the USA and the fans love to see it!
Ken really played some smart mind games putting Rob in the opposite lane for the finals & pulling it out with the horsepower in the end. Much respect to one of the more under rated drivers in the Bigfoot fleet. Bigfoot 4X4X4-4-Life!

During this era it was either the 460 c.i. supercharged w/ the predator carbs or the 540 c.i. engine. My guess would be the 460 setup and then eventually the put the 540 setup in it later on.
I went on Bigfoot's website after posting my 1st comment and it looks like sometime after the success of the 540 engine platform in Bigfoot #6 in 1988, Bigfoot #4 was outfitted with the same 540 engine setup. Go check out the history of Bigfoot #4 on there website. It's under the Alumni section and there's a lot of history about this iconic truck.
It was the early days, MTRA (Monster Truck Racing Association) which was founded by none other than Bob Chandler himself was still being conceptualized at this point, but it had a lot to do with safety regulations in monster trucks.
mad props to the drivers for handling those beasts so well after landing so tough
Watching this has taken me back to the 80s when I was a little boy & used to be obsessed with monster Trucks😁👍
I m still a little boy, even at 48😁
And I still obsess over monster trucks, especially the old schoolers.

Definitely a turn key truck.
You got that right. back then they were actually trucks.

I like how the keys are flopping around on the steering column. Imagine walking around with a key to Bigfoot on your key chain!
Yep. Proper 80s days👍
Jim Kramer does just that during the intro for BIGFOOT, King Of The Monster Trucks video.

Mister Branch or One or Shaun
This race aired on ESPN in late 1988.
When he said hi bob we won hes like hes vlogging in the 80s
0:25 Love me some big block Ford!
Looks like the guy who flips his cap backwards is taking a photo with a smart phone at the start ha
I would bet it s a Kodak Disk.
I had one late 80s/early 90s.
It was about the size of today's smartphones. Took really great pictures for it s time.
lol "hi mom we won"
The crowd was very emotional and excited back then. Not nowadays anymore where the "trucks" drive on sand and ramps only just to do loopings ...
What kind of engine is bigfoot 4 i like the sound (edit) BRING BACK BIGFOOT 4
Aidamarie Sauler i think its a 640 but idk
a ford engine big block i thank
The earlier bigfoot trucks normally ran a Moddified Alcohol injected Supercharged Ford 640ci

Why do the tires always seem to be bigger back then
They didn t shave the tread down as much then.
Bigfoot 4x4 I want a Bigfoot toy now
More than likely I was there that night
When they start putting the engine in the rear of the truck , to be different they should try one motor in the front and another motor in the rear
Like that one of them to drive everyday then people get out of the way okay just kidding love that truck
Bigfoot!
H-Town baby
No 5 point harness? Just a lap belt.😯
