It is a revolutionary design with the front drive allowing a low and flat floor. The large numbers built and the adaptability of the platform really indicate a great design. The picture of the power train looks like an easy to fix unit as long as you can drop it free of the chassis. It reminds me of how my VW Bug was designed in 1930's. By bolting the top to the bottom creating a strong and light weight vehicle. I am continually impressed by French Engineering and Design 🤔
@mattheide2775 My old friend Kelvin Hendry his first car was a VW Beetle in 1984 and still says it's the best car he's had. The French were very innovative take the suspension on the Citroën DS 1955 and I think it's great how the engine comes out and how much access you have to fix it I'd say it has to be the ugliest van i'v seen but amazing that everyone one from the butcher to the fire service used them and most in this country are used as snack bar's at the sea side bars for weddings and ice cream vans.
