Disney tried this decades ago. It was all subcontracted with questionable quality resuls. Had Disney brand sticker, but not Disney quality control.
Hopefully this time is better.

I would guess that the capital for the project is outside investors with Disney providing name and designing. Not sure about pay for play in a neighborhood you live in. Agree with you, it is an odd venture for Disney unless they have no risk and all gain.

Yeah, the neighborhoods will be built by external company’s who do these kind of ‘community’s’ all of the time. Disney is really offering guidance by imagineers and their branding. As of now everything is really just speculation, Disney was very shy with details. In the coming months though we will learn more. Curious to see where this goes. Thanks as always for watching!
