Lucky Ali mostly play this song in this tuning with these chords.. First time I saw this version in an old interview with Shekhar Suman (Movers and Shekhars).. Great work with the Tutorial Adit..

Original Chords played by lucky ali in some old 1998 shekar suman show was the most accurate....no one played exactly that way...but i still appreciate wt u played as this was the most closest to what lucky Ali played....i would love if u play even the first music which starts from the beginning of the song....its most terrific song ever in Indian pop history....it made a world record to stay on MTV Asia charts for 60 consecutive weeks....and album sold 10 million copys worldwide till date...
The chord which lucky ali played in 1998 in shekar suman's show was the same as this one just the tuning was set 1 whole step down

In the meantime, when you play open strum, it's in G tuning, it'll form a G chord.
You need to drop your 1st & 5th string to a complete step for that.
5th (A-> G) string
1st (E -> D) String
