    I remember both of those videos. The one with the stuck manure spreader and the one with you having all the metal issues. Hopefully things will get better on that farm

    Great safety message at 13 minutes in. Learned the same thing through Cornell Cooperative Extension Tractor Driving Safety Course. Do not look for hydraulic leaks with your hands. 2000+ psi can cause a lot of soft tissue damage

    An amazing thing these days.
    Tha ladies are fantastic and Andrew is not about to be left behind.
    I've yet to see one time they didn't catch the leak within feet if happening.
    I remember watching the harvest of wire video.

    Hi Andy, I think your best dialogs are when you are planting corn or combining corn. Maybe you can put up some longer videos and talk about different subjects. I also think that if Sarah and Alex could make videos of what they are doing it would be interesting and good for your channel. Regards from The Netherlands.

    Alex should google ''hydraulic injection injury''. Well, everybody should do that, and look at the pictures. Everytime you work on hydraulic systems you will have those pictures in mind, better than every waring sign.
    Youre having a very bad day when the hydraulic jet enters your skin. Would be half as bad if it went straight through, but the jet gets distorted by the flesh, tendons, and bones, etc, so if it enters your finger tip it can get straight through, or it exits at your shoulder blade. Unpredictable.
    Nice video, and a quick fix without too much expense.

    That happened to my dad when I was young living on a farm in Nebraska... the hydraulic oil got shot into his arm from a leak he had to go to the hospital to get the oil cleaned out... he was lucky..full recovery... scary shit though

      Thankfully he recovered we sold the farm in Nebraska in 47 , and moved way south.

    Oh no, I can just hear "Greta" now.... oil came out of the ground, it can go back into the ground I say. LOL
    Not only you'll get oil in your skin but, it can cut fingers off, think of it as a water jet cutting machine. Great video as always, cheers :)

    The fact Alex caught the leak within the length of the chisel plow, only shows that not only is she a gorgeous young lady but a heck of an operator to boot! My only criticism would be we didn't get to see that beautiful smile of hers😉! Andy you do have some talented and beautiful girls, Happy Memorial Day Weekend Sir! Sorry I didn't mention the boys, but heck they aren't as pretty 😉

    Great lesson about hydraulic leak checking. I was a Steamfitter and we were told to use a broom handle to find steam leaks because steam is invisible.

    Andy is was your lucky day finding that spring on the ground. Very correct about high pressure fluids and serious damage to skin. This spring a friend was pressure washing a piece of equipment and some how he dropped the pressure washer wand and the flipped and hit him in the arm penetrating his skin, he ended up in Emergency Medical on IV drip for several days to stop the infection.

    I know a guy that was looking for a leak like you said not to . He almost lost his hand from it being full of oil . His hand today is almost twice as big as his other hand .

    I remember that video when you guys had that spreader stuck. What happened to that big dude Norris or whatever his name was that was working for you guys I don't know if he was the one running the tractor but I remember he was in the video.
    Man do I hear you on the phone calls that goddamn phone rings every single time I'm laying under something or trying to help somebody else get their issue resolved or my hands are covered in crap.. and I can say the word "answer" 5 times but my phone just keeps ringing for some reason . That's why you only receive text messages from me because I get it, not because I'm a millennial lol. Awesomevideo Andy

    Those cylinder leaks on brand new tool smells like a millennial that had a brain fart and torque marked those fittings. He may have been wearing a face diaper and was dizzy from his thirteenth booster.

    I think you should get yourself a huge excavator and take all them little fields and make them one... I know there's probably a landlord involved but if they're all one field your life would be a lot easier.. especially in a few years when you get your 24 role playing great job of videoing.. true life farming experiences!!

    We have a bobcat at my shop. It had sat for years. I got it running and filled the hydraulic oil. Found 2 bad hoses. More oil and found the 3rd leaking. It was bucket tilt. I loosened it up and it was just dribble....dribble...dribble. slowly. I keep un screwing it and when it got to the last thread it blew off all over me. I learned a valuable lesson. Glad I didn't hurt myself

    Duffy ag had a hydraulic leak in his driveway. His neighbor called the cops and anyone else that would listen. they sent every available unit from the environmental unit. The peoples republic of NY environmental revenue generators rushed to the scene and he has to dig it up. Personally I think people should mind their own business. It came out of the ground. Little bit isn't going to hurt.

      I watched the video never once did he explained that the entire state of New York was after him stop exaggerating. And it wasn't his hydraulic leak it was a trucking company dumping full so they would have been the ones that held responsible

      That was the 2nd time that neighbor called on him. Claiming some brick fill had asbestos in it. 😂 Chris has some good buddies up his way, but why would you want to farm in any of those States up his way. Especially when you’re starting out with a new farm.

    Great video. I worked with a gent that lost 2 fingers from a hydraulic injection injury from a pinhole leak in a hose. It was nasty.

    What the date of this? Just trying to figure out your start on planting. I started later than normal in CT because its been cold and wet till the last week. I have some ground that can't get planter through because of water so no go there. Decided to no-till a lot more than normal because of time and weather. Great video. Will you 7200R pull a 12 row planter?

    I never run my hand over a hydraulic hose. One to many wires jabbed into the fingers. And if I remove a boss fitting. I replace the O ring.

      No till into wet ground is a failure. But they definitely could be notilling some on his driest ground.

    I can remember wind you took down a lot of trees down cross the road where you guys are next thing in the meantime, the wind does not stop blowing all the snow going in the road on route 5 and the wind 💨 world not stop blowing into the road my friend David Randall. Is going nuts plowing just that spot first year took all those trees down and you made it hard on the guys long night, the wind will not stop blowing the snow in the road route five and thank you. We couldn’t go home to our families Christmas and New Year’s with our families.

      None of them break down sitting in the shed. Anything that is used will break at some point. All of them have hoses, and hoses wear out.

      ​@@MorganOtt-ne1qjlmao Deere are having notorious low hour hydraulic leak failures. 38360 doesn't have many hours on it. If you buy a deer newer the 6000/10 7000/10 8000/10 series you'll have lots of problems.
