      Makes no sense... A free neutron is a proton with a loose electron that it loses (or sometimes keeps to form a hydrogen atom)... Up quarks are most likely positrons and down quarks are electrons... 2 positrons repel but are attracted by the central electron so do not fly apart or annihilate with the electron..
      --
      There is almost zero chance nature would have positrons as stable matter (until finding a free electron) and not use them... Personally, I think electrons and positrons that were not created as a pair form a 'noton' when they come into contact. Could be fewer percentage bonding rather than annihilating but more means MORE DARK MATTER which is useful for astrophysics...

      @PrivateSi 3 года назад

      Spin is either in to a particle centre, or out from it, It is energy flow forming a magnetic circuit loop (field line)... These merge as DC magnetic circuits between electrons and positrons in a proton. You need a unifying, quantised, subspace electric field to emerge a corrected, simplified standard model... Most of the particles (All of the new ones) are useless, short-lived junk matter that disintegrates into positrons and electrons.... It's the POSITRONIC UNIVERSE that really matters... Quarks are a fudge, larger quarks are useless. Neutrinos are fudge, bosons are a math fudge too.

      When we draw a sine wave on a blackboard, we are representing spatial curvature. Does a photon transfer spatial curvature from one location to another? Wrap a piece of wire around a pencil and it can produce a 3D coil of wire, much like a spring. When viewed from the side it can look like a two-dimensional sine wave. You could coil the wire with either a right-hand twist, or with a left-hand twist. Could Planck's Constant be proportional to the twist cycles. A photon with a higher frequency has more energy. (More spatial curvature). What if gluons are actually made up of these twisted tubes which become entangled with other tubes to produce quarks. (In the same way twisted electrical extension cords can become entangled.) Therefore, the gluons are actually a part of the quarks. Mesons are made up of two entangled tubes (Quarks/Gluons), while protons and neutrons would be made up of three entangled tubes. (Quarks/Gluons) The "Color Force" would be related to the XYZ coordinates (orientation) of entanglement. "Asymptotic Freedom", and "flux tubes" make sense based on this concept. Gravity is a result of a very small curvature imbalance within atoms. (This is why the force of gravity is so small.)

    This is not my field of study but, if a QUARK is a FERMIONIC particle and if MESONS are made of QUARKS , how is it that the MESONS are also included in the BOSONS family (the force carriers)?
    What is the relationship between this two classifications, (Fermions/Bonsons and Baryons/Mesons)?
    Are MESONS included in the BOSONS family just because of the similar properties regarding the spin?

    • @FortheLoveofPhysics
      @FortheLoveofPhysics  4 года назад

      Quark-Antiquark (1/2,1/2) combines to create an integer-spin particle (meson) and hence is a Boson.
      Three-Quarks (1/2,1/2,1/2) combines to create a half integer particle (hadron) and hence is a Fermion.
