any idea how to get inside this, i need to repair the stupid needlessly flimsy micro usb socket (a nice big square printer style socket would have been much more reliable)

@@nonsensicalchild couldn't see anything in there, or under one of the rubber feet. Maybe it is not designed to come apart, hope that is not the case.

Hello, can you power/charge this radio from a USB socket?
Best to use the transformer as some usbs might not have enough power.
@@nonsensicalchild I am looking for a radio for my caravan while it is in storage, so no mains power available. Would I be able to power it from USB if I had a powerful enough socket?
@@tonyrudd2576 I just took the battery out to check it wasn't just for charging .It works powered just from usb.
