Have a 2023 Solitude and have towed it 11k miles so far and no issues other than a fire place heating element failure which Grand Design quickly mailed me a replacement unit. Not sure that other manufacturer's work with there customer base like Grand Design does. The negative comments i have read and heard over the past year and a half of ownership are definitely not my own experience with this company. Honesty is harder and harder to find online. I would encourage anyone in the market to visit some campgrounds and RV parks and ask those who have the brand you are interested in there views of the product. RUclips, FB and many other online resources for reviews and information are hot or miss. Love the way Lineage looks! If i were in the market it would definitely be on a shortlist for comps.

I like your style. There is an abundance of negativity in social media right now. While there is some truth there the problem lies in the fact that the happy folks are out continuing to live their best lives and aren’t spending time praising their units on social media. Bottom line, the actual percentage of folks with problems is actually quite small. That certainly doesn’t mean that folks with problem units don’t matter or that they don’t deserve the full efforts of the manufacturer to fix the problem. They certainly do deserve the attention of their manufacturer. It’s just that we need to remember that the satisfied customers are out camping in droves. Grand Design may turn out to be a good bet as, thanks to social media, the frame issues they have are front and center. They badly need a good product and they’re already trying to clean up their service. We’ll have to wait and see but I’m betting they’ll be putting their best foot forward here.

You nailed it. There also seems to be a significant number of non-owners who have jumped on the bandwagon even though they have zero first hand accounts with GD. Some of it even seems backhanded. There are certainly manufacturers looking for GDs reputation to be damaged. Some of the stuff online is real and some seems very fishy. I’ve personally had 7 Grand Design units (prototype program) and no issues other than an AC that was quickly replaced. 🤷🏻‍♂️

When I saw Kumho tires I instantly became concerned about cost cutting. But this looks great on the inside. Very familiar floor plan to many out there and one of my favorites. I think I would rather have a smaller bed to be able to get back around that side of the bed easier. Overall I bet this is going to be a great hit for them.

Really nice looking rig. I think we would opt for the theater seats, get rid of the bottle washer(useless and takes up sink space) and the fancy shower faucet for same reasons.

What happens to the king size bed when the slide closes? It looks like there is not enough room for the slide to close unless the bed is repositioned. Nice looking unit.

@@WanderingWeekends Used too. Very horrible experience. 2021 310GK Fifth Wheel. Slide failures (twisted in walls likely a particular failure people talk a-lot about lately), holes in exterior walls where they relocated awning rails and they didn't even bother filling them with caulk, jacks wouldn't work consistently, not a single thing in that camper was completely correct. Very stupid of me buying a GD without an independent third party inspecting it or for buying one at all.
edit: OMG That slide is way too big for those tiny rail and drive.

Our Grand Design has not been a mistake. As a matter of fact we've also had multiple prototype units as well. Those have been good too. One AC was a lemon which was quickly replaced. You have zero personal experience with GD so you are simply parroting? Interesting.

I was getting ready to order a 410 when the frame debacle started. As I have watched there response to there customers I have lost all trust in any of their products. I do have several friends who have Covid babies and are disappointed in the quality and customer response.
