The weed discussion resonated with me, managing anxiety is so hard to do any other way, but I realized I wasn't even really able to get high anymore. I have no idea how Matt coped with an eighth a day, that shit's insane.

I've taken week breaks at least once a year and quit for a month 2 years ago but didn't see any real change other than not being able to sleep anymore so I went back. Makes me wonder if I should try and quit longer to see if I have any mental health benefits, the come down is just rough so I'd hate to do it for nothing
@Mr Calcium A fact you may find interesting is that all three guys I've known who have been addicted to opiates and other drugs have had their blood checked and found extremely low testosterone levels. It is a much larger issue than people realize, even if you are relatively healthy and normal.
I'm around an eighth a day, have been for the last 11 years. How do you go back to managing daily life without it? I'd like to cut back, save money and disappoint my wife less.. but an hour without it and I turn into a shitty person.
@@innocenth3rb Going dead sober will quickly change how you view it. If you can manage to moderate and integrate it in a healthy way you still have a chance. Nothing will motivate you more to go that route than experiencing what it is like to no longer be able to smoke at all for your own good.

Matt you have to stop listening to the negative. Dude, you are operating on a much higher level than 99% of car people. It's jealously. Keep doing what you do, bc you are the best at it.
For the VW R32, they may want to do what Civic road racers do for rotation in the corners and run a relatively much stiffer sway bar in the rear with a, again relatively, softer bar in the front. Basically the opposite of a gripped up drift car. What it does is allow weight transfer and grip from both front wheels when you trail brake into a turn, while forcing the rear to move as one unit (think solid axle). As for their other question, Mitsubishi Evo drivers I believe run pretty aggressive LSD's, usually mechanical 1.5 in the front and 2 way in the rear, and from my understanding the 2 way rear diff's tendency towards lock when under both positive and negative load also facilitates rotation in the corners. I don't own these cars, just a nerd spreading what I've heard. Hope it helps some
It's not a problem on the two tracks which I did trackdays. Passing is no problem even with the visibility. It is kind of a problem off the track. Espically if you like driving in the hills or tighter roads.
