When first time you entered the restaurant the conversation with the Sardarji was minimal, next time when he came and invited you again and he wanted to talk you were also so engaging and had a good conversation, many a time people quickly judge others in few minutes, once we give time have patience people get comfortable and end up having an amazing conversation.
I think sardarji wants to promote his dhaba through Varun bhai's channel.

Phoenix has a beautiful Gurdwara - Nishkam Seva ... I hope when you were in the Bay Area or are in the bay area you get a chance to visit the San Jose Gurdwara, there are 5 in the bay area Milpitas, Fremont, El Sobrante, Santa Clara amongst other . It is one of the biggest Gurdwaras in the world and you should get langar all thru the week, CA has a ton of Gurdwaras apart from Los Angeles, Sacramento, Tracy etc etc ..... There is also the BAPS Hindu Temple which is similar to Akashardham and Southern Indian Temple in Livermore !!

California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas were once part of Mexico and were annexed after the Mexican American War (1846-48) and became United States.
Each of those states have a substantial Hispanic and Latino population (Mexico, El Salvador, Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Honduras, Guatemala etc) who speak Spanish as they were a colony of Spain for example Mexico was colonized for over 300 Years. Thus many of the town names in the area are of Spanish origin. These were ALL FARMLANDS and were built up as major centers you see today by United States. Phoenix was tiny some 25 years ago and has literally exploded in size to become 5th largest city in USA.

There are quite a few Gurdwaras in San Francisco Bay Area. The notable ones are in San Jose, and Fremont. Other ones are in Livermore, Bay Point, Hayward etc.

@@harmandeepsingh6598 hi harmandeep. I have been a teacher of sikh studies. As per guru gobind singh ji - sikhs are forbidden from eating halal meat only. No mention is ever made about eating meat. Of course gurudwaras donot serve meat- but never is it mentioned that eating meat is forbidden. Check sikh Maryada. When I took the amrit when I was younger that was the only mention made. Absolutely no halal meat period. Please check your facts before making such statements. Thank you

Hi Varun: A very interesting Vlog, once again. Sometime ago, there was a a news item about this Indian Restaurant in one of the Network TV channels. Sardarji has the right idea and his restaurant is becoming quite popular, especially among the truckers plying that route. Per reports, the food is quite good and excellent value for money. By the way, food that we order "to go" is usually called "take out" food here.
