Really looking forward to seeing "Wish"! ⭐✨ When I first heard about this announcement, tbh, I kinda pictured Ariana Debrose singing "When you wish upon a star"
So there’s much I hope to see in Wish! Beautiful music (including an I want, Sidekick, and villain songs), Asha not being a born-royal princess (I’m hoping for adoption), more lovable/likable characters, a powerful story, message, AND the villain dies (sources say they’re one of Disney’s most formidable foes, so redemption and forgiveness should not be considered an option)

Looking forward to the new disney movie Wish
I looked on Wikipedia that it's official that the upcoming 3 Disney animated feature films are gonna be released in November. Why not In March? Anyway, I wonder what songs are gonna be in Wish?
How about instead of Original story they say inspired by Lisa M Bishop...
Asha and the lost city is an amazing book.
The only similarity that Wish has with the Princess Asha series is the fact that both main characters are both Princesses named Asha. It's likely that the name of both characters is a coincidence and the team didn't know that the books exist.
Here are all the differences I could find.
1. Disney's Asha is Afro-Latina and rules over Rosas (most likely inspired by a Latin American nation) while Bishop's Asha is Desi and is in charge of a South Asian kingdom.
2. Disney's Asha has a goat while Bishop's Asha has a calf, an owl, and a horse.
3. Princess Asha and the Lost Cities heavily deals with Indian mythology. Disney's Wish deals with the wishing star that appears before every Disney movie (i.e. Peter Pan, Pinocchio, The Princess and the Frog). They even said it in the video.
We'll just have to wait and see when Wish comes out.
Excited now I know Evan Peters is a part of it
