Remembering Isao Takahata

- Isao Takahata, who was one of Japan's most successful animation directors and known for works such as "Heidi", "Grave of the Fireflies" or "Only Yesterday", sadly passed away on April 5th, 2018. May he rest in peace.

A True Pioneer of Animation in Japan. Sad to hear this news.
This makes me incredibly sad. You can see how much Miyazaki and Suzuki really cared for Takahata and were concerned for his well-being. RIP. I hope they're coping okay.

Everyone who loves Isao takahata's movies,if possible,please watch the Akage no Anne（Anne of GreenGables） of the TV series. You can see a wonderful side different from his movie。

Today is my last day of Spring Break and I thought of Studio Ghibli and thought about looking for updates then saw this....Rest in peace Isao. At this point I am not afraid of death but I am certainly afraid of my inspirations dying....I'm off to college next year and I just can't bear it that my inspirations are dying :(

Very upsetting to see another talented director go .So sad 😢 it’s not funny
does any1 know how its called Marco in english or french and where can i find episodes......
Seeing Miyazaki san in this clip makes me even more sad for the loss of Takahata san :(
