Absolutely in love with that 2nd kitchen in the Perry home. They did a great job! I'm in a DR Horton home. I LOVE my neighborhood, i even love my home. I do NOT love DR Horton. They built every home in our subdivision using these PEX pipes. We're on our 17th water leak. DR Horton is fighting NOT to re-pipe our homes. Paying to re-pipe is $20K for our 2-story house. I can't believe we're in this situation. Make sure to pay for your own inspector regardless of who your builder is but especially if you build with DR HORTON. They're treating us terribly. Good luck everyone.
Sorry to hear you’re going through that! DR Horton has always been good to my clients and no major issues that I have heard about. All builders use PEX pipe now though. Copper pipe is a thing of the past BUT not all contractors are created equal so I could definitely see a subpar contractor causing an issue for the neighborhood. What neighborhood are you in?
@LifeinSATX we're in the Schertz/Cibolo area. Our entire subdivision is dealing with this and has been for several years. We were told DR HORTON is suing the pipe company, and the homeowners have a lawsuit against DR Horton but there are so many of us that repairs were being done in stages. That was for the first few years. Now, all leaks have to be repaired by the homeowner and we were told to keep all the pipes that are removed due to the pinhole leaks, take pictures, and keep all receipts. The frustrating thing is DR HORTON is slow walking this as much as possible because they won't repair any houses after May 2025. For example, they're refusing to repair certain homeowners for very small issues (like a picture of a pipe missing the "PEX" stamp and only showing the pinhole or vice versa) and not informing the homeowner, hoping the homeowner won't follow up so they can run out the clock. What's most heartbreaking is we aren't trying to get rich off of DR HORTON, we'd just like our homes repaired and functional like they should have been when we built. It's been a very long, very frustrating experience with DR HORTON. Sorry for rambling. Anyway, I enjoy your videos, thank you.
I love your videos. Find them entertaining and informative. I have a question about a builder. What do you think of Garner homes? I visited one of their model homes in I believe copper ridge like 4 or 5 years ago. I fell in love with it. So I was wondering what you think of them and the quality of their builds?

What’s the timeframe for Mayfair buildout
Waiting for Texas Senate to eliminate property taxes then ill be buying here.
I want to know if the finishing is also part of the house . I mean everything included? The beds, the couch, the tables and the rest.
