He was about to retired at the time when he fought saenchai and he is not at his prime cause if he is, he wouldve blasted saenchai with left kicks like theres no tomorrow. And right now samkor is teaching at a gym at hong kong.

Saenchai totally outclassed Samkhor in the first two rounds, but Samkhor relied on his brute force to compensate for the technical disparities between him and Saenchai.
This compared to One Championship is mad. I know it's much better pay for the fighters now but you can't help but feel it's lots some of the magic - the scoring and five rounds (and the gamblers) really did encourage more technique and less brawling

Nongnarong Looksamrong, Nungubon Sitlerchai, Lamnamoon Sor Sumalee, Jaroensap Kiatbanchong, Mathee Jeedipitak, etc. etc. Samkor is great but he's not even in the top 20 Muay Thai fighters of all time. That's how deep the Muay Thai circuit was before the gamblers ruined it in 2010 and onwards.
Saenchai won the kicking exchanges from round 1-2 (especially in round 2). He responded to Samkor's kicks very well (blocked and evaded most of them) and returned clean body and head kicks, his fimeu skills were on par if not better than Samkor's. Samkor only won because he was the better knee fighter in the clinch (won round 4 by a lot). In round 5 Samkor managed to protect his points
