I have three Marquise machines! I like the extras for when my friends come over…I got the two extras on special from HSN a while back. I love this little work horse! Best investment I’ve made to my craft room ever! 😊
I LOVE my Marquise machines! I have one in gold and another one in turquoise! Several of my Stampin up pals that have one as well and they prefer this machine over others they have! I use the folders over and over again regardless of how they look! One of my most favorite craft tools!
Love my Marquis….have the Navy and original mini one…the blush is beautiful….this is my go to unless I have to cut larger dies or card bases. Hopefully DP will come out with a wider one soon for those. But love this guy. When my folders get way to bent I cut them apart toss the bent side and pair the straighter sides and either washy tape tops together or just put them through as 2 plates. Extends folders and works perfectly…they last a long time 💜💜💜
I have the purple one. I was blown away by how good these can cut even very intricate dies and even in a buckled folder too! Of course, you can’t put anything very large in it, but wow 🤩 these can do cutting more quickly and easily that many of the “big boys!” (And without any shims.) 👍😊
I have 2, the Raspberry which I won in a giveaway and a purple which came with an autoship, and I have the mini. I use my Tangerine 70% of the time, but the Marquis is amazing for smaller projects and intricate dies and embossing folders. My Electric Gemini and Gemini Midi are sitting collecting dust.
Hi Vianney. I ordered the teal one since I love teal, to have it as a back up if my current one breaks. I would be lost without it. I used your link. The link works better on my iPhone than in my iPad!
I have 2 of the Marquise already, but I do love the blush color. If it comes back I just may get that one too. Hey, can never have too many die cutting machines. Be well, be safe & TYFS
Pretty color, kind of a pink coral, which is the same color of the tile in my 50's bathroom. I always rmthought the top is a silicon like DP's craft mats (same texture). Agreed, I only put DP folders and none of my other brands, especially those with embedded dies. I got the gold one last year on special at DP's site, but also ordered the purple anniversary one cause I loved the stamp & die set. So I have three now, but one can stay in my craft bag, craft room and just because it's such a great and easy die cutter.
I loved the SB release and so cool. Since the mixed media kit just came out with stencils, I came across some of my metal and older stencils to play with the DP kit.
Thanks for the suction tip. I took a butter knife to mine once to get it off the table. I have also dropped mine from table height to the floor and it still works. I have a pretty purple one.
TODAY May 9th the Purple, Blush, Teal are back in stock for 48.95. Anyway I have the GOLD one also bought in a kit. A neighbor wants one after using mine. So I was looking at them again today. However the folders people do last quite a bit longer if you use the Diamond Press super thin dies and embossing folders. The BIGGEST problem is they DO NOT LAST often only one time through when you use even thinlit dies or the thinnest other brand dies. It cuts beautifully just like with their own Diamond Press brand dies. BUT other brands are where the problem with the cutting folders take on a whole other frustration level. As in give me a padded room sound proof so I can SCREAM kind of frustration. A year ago I took the Marguise along to camp for 2 weeks of bliss and ME She time. HA HA HA. I thought I would be cutting out 20 larger fancy cut 5's and 0's and a lovely intricate pear and finally a few simple single word dies. all dies were THIN dies. My first attempt to cut the # 5 out instantly ruined the brand new folder. I flipped it and manged to squeak out 2 more 5's and it was done for. I had brought a box of 8 folders so I figured I had plenty. So as much as I adore the way the Diamond Press cuts not impressed with it's folders. And everyone who recommends and advertises it says just flip the folders and use and use and reuse over and over again. With their DIES yes that can be true. But the problem is I love all my dies. Now the FLIP side of the story is I now own 5 different die machines including two electric and another generic machine I did gift to a neighbor that does a great job for her. However I figured I'd just use Sizzix and Spellbinder machines and voila they would cut out all my diamond press dies. NO. I have yet to find the combination for the right sandwich with various layers and thicknesses to increase the cutting thickness that actually cuts the diamond press skinny super thin dies. WAAAAWAAAA. I'm crying crock tears here. Huge tears. My job in life is to meet all challenges with dignity and WIN. So yes I am on two missions to date. To get the Diamond Press DIES to work in my Spellbinder 6 and 8.5 Platinum machines and Sizzix machines. And of course to come up with materials that are soft enough yet thin enough to use as non warping cutting folder substitutes. So far I have yet to nail either problem. I have not given up. I refuse to give up. It is not my nature to give in. NOOOO. My hair my be pulled out and my prozac or what ever they call the chill out drugs run out...I've never taken a stress drug just saying if I had it would have failed me by now. And I'd move on without drugs..and probably with few hair left on my head. Anyway yeah love the Diamond Press machine, Love their dies, Love everything except their cutting folders mixed with any other brand of cutting dies. So if the price drops on this machine and I can get it for under 35 I'll buy one. They sometimes do offer a return machine option at reduction. Also if you sign up for HSN today you can get 10 off the machine and if you go even further and sign up for their credit card you can get I believe 20 off one item. So thought I'd mention that. Also for some odd reason HSN has been out of the smaller regular sized cutting sheets for quite a while? They do have the longer ones that run a little over a dollar a sheet. To save some people money but not to discourage you trying usually the 3 different thin cutting boards that are flexible have not worked out as cutting folders as substitutes. They warp in fact worse than the orignal folders. Happy crafting everyone. If you enjoy that amazing soft wonderful feeling of these machines cutting their dies YEAH I get it. Which is why I am so wanting to find a solution to using other dies without the expensive of ruining the plate folders.
I love this color! My other Marquis the handle squeaked and I put oil on it. Then handle kept coming off! My fault! This blush Marquis works like a charm!
Ok I rewatched without distractions!!! I saw the bowing. It doesn’t look like the folders bow as badly as my midi. I tossed that sucker in the trash. 😊
So happy you got the blush - she’s a beauty! I just love mine in Gold. I think the blush has a little different shape to the machine, little taller and narrower maybe? Either way so happy for you!
Love my purple Marquis! Use it all the time! Since you get a folder every time you get something from DP the bowing etc. doesn't bother me! Use as long as I can then use for my hot glue gun drips (thanks to Vianney's tip). Blessings!
PS The AG cut and emboss cartouche folders go through the Marquise well and easily. The AG Empress is too strong sometimes and will break the foil paper that I use. I have never tried a 3D in the Marquise and do not plan to.
You’re. Welcome. I was frustrated that the Empress kept cutting trough my foil and thought, let me use my Marquise which is my only other die cut machine.
Ah man, I am so upset. I received my Blush machine, unfortunately it had so many flaws I had to send it back. Boo and now it's sold out. It is really a nice color.
It looked like the casing hadn't dried and there were finger and smudge prints all around it. Not very pretty looking. I almost convinced myself that I could overlook the flaws, but couldn't, they were way too obvious. I had asked for an exchange til I found out it was sold out. :(
Hi Vianney! Love your videos. Oh my gosh, I have 3 marquis. Is this hoarding or what. I love my little machines. Im afraid that they are not going to sell them anymore. Maybe I'll get all the colors. Lol Blanca from El Paso Texas!😊
Hey! Take a deep breath, relax, slow down, you are way to hyper! I'm interested in the Marquis and thinking it might be good for agreat granddaughter? But you are talking so fast!
would you please tell me the name of the long narrow die you used? I just ordered a machine and I want to make bookmarks and that would be perfect. Thank you.

Yep, love mine, just like you Vianney, its my go to machine, definitely a workhorse😉😄 Love this blush color though!

I love my marquise!!! Been with diamond press since beginning!! Love the products and value!
Hear, hear!! So great, I am also a collector from jump!! TYSM!

I picked up the pink marquise too, but couldn't help myself...Pink...😉
Right there with ya! LOL! Enjoy!
I love this color! My other Marquis the handle squeaked and I put oil on it. Then handle kept coming off! My fault! This blush Marquis works like a charm!
Shh , don't let my blush marquis know I want the new blush one! Love my Marquis. I think it is great that they send you a new folder with every set .
I absolutely love the blush Marquise. I ordered it, but my order is still processing, I hope I get it even though I have the teal one. 🥰
Ok I rewatched without distractions!!! I saw the bowing. It doesn’t look like the folders bow as badly as my midi. I tossed that sucker in the trash. 😊
Do the embossing folders bow like the folders do?
The Blush is really pretty 😍!
So happy you got the blush - she’s a beauty! I just love mine in Gold. I think the blush has a little different shape to the machine, little taller and narrower maybe? Either way so happy for you!

So pretty!
I ordered one. I am dire need of a good die cutter. Got a bunch of Temu dies and they just don’t cut in my WeRM little die cutter. Hope this one will.
Girl now your one up on me. I have teal and gold but said no to pink haha who needs three machines you do haha
what type of cardstock do you use because when I emboss it comes out very light. Also any hacks on how to get your folders not to warp so fast?
PS The AG cut and emboss cartouche folders go through the Marquise well and easily. The AG Empress is too strong sometimes and will break the foil paper that I use. I have never tried a 3D in the Marquise and do not plan to.
Thanks for sharing that tip!
You’re. Welcome. I was frustrated that the Empress kept cutting trough my foil and thought, let me use my Marquise which is my only other die cut machine.
I use mine to cut vinyl. Last weekend the grands and I cut out dinosaurs with permanent vinyl and put them on cups.
Aww, I love that! Thanks for sharing your experience!
Hi Vianney, do you think they will ever bring the gold one back?
Ah man, I am so upset. I received my Blush machine, unfortunately it had so many flaws I had to send it back. Boo and now it's sold out. It is really a nice color.
Oh, no! What was wrong with it?
It looked like the casing hadn't dried and there were finger and smudge prints all around it. Not very pretty looking. I almost convinced myself that I could overlook the flaws, but couldn't, they were way too obvious. I had asked for an exchange til I found out it was sold out. :(
Hi Vianney, off subject but do you think the screen print inks can be used with stencils? Thanks
@Ubiquitous Thanks!!!
Hi Vianney! Love your videos. Oh my gosh, I have 3 marquis. Is this hoarding or what. I love my little machines. Im afraid that they are not going to sell them anymore. Maybe I'll get all the colors. Lol Blanca from El Paso Texas!😊
Do the cutting plates curl?
I thought I spoke about that in this video...maybe I didn't. I'm sorry.
@@VianneyCreates you probably did. I just didn’t catch it. 😃
I thought the blush marquise was suppose to come with some accessories .
No, it was by itself. They never showed it with any accessories. The one that has accessories is the purple one.
Hey! Take a deep breath, relax, slow down, you are way to hyper! I'm interested in the Marquis and thinking it might be good for agreat granddaughter? But you are talking so fast!
That’s just me!
would you please tell me the name of the long narrow die you used? I just ordered a machine and I want to make bookmarks and that would be perfect. Thank you.
