You asked for "out of the box ideas" on e-books. I think a lot of people don't want to use just the Chiefs, I would love an e-book focusing on using a QB/style/system that may work best w/o a velocity ability (Ravens, 9ers). I think you are right on the NCAA, lots of offline content, if you did anything it would have to be 1-2 ebooks total on the most used teams (let it run for a month to see the meta). Great stream, faced some demons.
What's up Mike! Appreciate the comment. It's always a tough balance when it comes to trying to find the right type of Ebooks to make that will serve everyone. This year we had two Ebooks that were unusual/out there with Pistol Strong and Gun Y Off Trips Wk (with all the motion HB swings) and Gun Tight Open also had an element of "weirdness" since it had the Speed Option as well.
As for a scheme that would work best on a QB without a velocity ability, in my personal opinion, I don't think such a scheme exists. I feel that passing the ball is WAY better with a velocity ability regardless of what scheme we're in. There are throws that you can ONLY hit if you have a velocity ability, but there aren't any throws that you can ONLY hit if you don't have a velocity ability (the one slight exception to this is that free forming vs man coverage at times can be slightly better without a velocity ability because of the higher trajectory, but it's definitely not a big enough impact to make it the superior).
Ultimately, each Ebook has the primary goal of providing you guys with a unique way to attack the defense. At the core of every Ebook will be our fundamental zone-beating and man-beating principles, combined with run plays and RPOs to complement the passing setups. The highest priority will always be to provide you guys with schemes that I KNOW will be successful in your online games, rather than trying to base it around a particular QB style or real life system. Hopefully that makes sense.
And I agree 100% on NCAA. It's uncharted territory and I'd rather spend a year observing from the sidelines rather than diving into something without knowing how it will turn out.
Appreciate the comment man, hope you have an awesome week!
NFL is not as big as you think it is 😂
The NFL is an $18 billion industry, what the hell are you talking about lol
