Installing a corner bead

Be sure sheetrock does not stick out beyond corner. Center bead evenly over raw corner. Slide bead up until it touches ceiling. Firmly press bead into the corner keeping certain the corner of the bead remains the high point. Secure bead to wall with fasteners. If nails are used space about one foot apart. If staples are used, space 6-8 inches apart. Be sure there is no void between the sheetrock and the edge of corner bead.
