A New Dawn for De-Barras, Saint Lucia

💧 25,000 gallons of clean water are now available for the community of De-Barras!💧
Readily available clean water is sadly a privilege for remote communities in the Caribbean. De-Barras, a community in St. Lucia, was heavily impacted by climate change, straining an already unreliable water supply.
With funding from the European Union under the EU-GCCA+ project, the community can now enjoy safe drinking water through a water treatment plant powered by solar PV panels, supplemented by a standby generator.
The Caribbean Community Climate Change Centre is proud to serve the people of the region through projects like these, that provide security and build their resilience.
