Its just a simple concept. You can be dependent on others. But not ALL THE TIME. Trust me. This is coming from someone who has been dependent on others financially & emotionally. Only you will be there for you. You have to support you. You can only take care of you at the worst of worst situations. Think about yourself in next 30-40years. You will be more confident in yourself if you are a bit atleast financially independent. You can be financially independent and still be sharing expenses with your partner or parents. I am not saying don’t do anything with others money.its just that you would be a lot more safer when you are financially stable on YOUR OWN. Again I am not thinichifying anything to anyone. I know all are well wise to understand what I am trying to say and filter what you don’t want to get in your mind. If you don’t feel like my ideology is working out with you please feel free to stay away from me cos that will help you with your mental peace. I don’t know if I am putting this in the right way but I am all cool with your opinion. Have a great day & life ahead❤️

I’m 24, single independent not interested in marriage for now. I don’t see anything wrong in what she’s saying. I personally also feel it’s better to be independent and not rush into marriage, because nowadays marriage longevity and happiness is also not guaranteed.
