l love my sigmas tile cutters 30+years now, i have always preferred to pull handle type but each for their own. love that cutting wheel with it's own bearing as it looks super smooth and i guess it greatly assists the push handle motion, don't like OP said about not being able to see the wheel cut as your setting up the tile.. i dunno if i like that adjust plastic handle as i can see that breaking shortly into a team ownership on the jobsite.. anyways TNX SIGMA Italy for robust tile cutters especially the older types.
Seems really strange they have you pushing away from the measuring bar/fence.. I'm very used to my montolit at this point. Montolit and Sigma are hands down the best cutters you can buy. I do like how easy it is to see the cutting wheel on the sigma pull handle. It makes precise cuts easy.
You can easily switch the handle to face the other way, which is the first thing I did with mine. It's a lot more forgiving than the monolit too which I find a bit touchy. Much easier to see the wheel on these push Max handles too. All around better than Monolit Imo.

all my life i worked with the rubi ts and i still like them but after having worked for 5 years in Switzerland where it is fashion a very hard type of tile and having worked for a few months with the sigma of an Italian friend, I fell in love with it, very compact , fast and easy cut for any type of tile, at the moment I am in the United States and I'm going order one from Italy through ebay, cheaper about 100 usd than here,the only negative aspect is the fact that it is difficult to see the wheel but after a few days I mastered this difficulty relying on the machine and its perfect cut,to me, is simply the best market tile cutter, its perfect, +- same price then rubies.
