I really appreciated Wesley's comment about not blasting the people involved but rather the lack of planning and what happened, that is a huge disclaimer because it could be very easy to be an armchair judge. So I've watched the entire series and the extras with comments by the producers just to get a feel for how accurate this portrayal is and I am impressed with how accurate they tried to be, from various perspectives, not just one doctor or nurse or whoever. If no other movie, tv show, book, or real story makes people change their approach and makes them prepare and plan AHEAD OF TIME, this will. Words cannot describe the affects that this story had on those who lived it, read it, or watched it.

Two hospitals in the same building with different staff and no one at the corporations answering the phone. That guy on holiday man. Made me angry. The excess heat.

That manual was provided by the persons who own the hospital. The incident person would have only followed what was inside. That woman didn’t write it. You can’t have the generator up high because they are noisy as hell and dirty. The staff didn’t sleep for 5 days 24 hours. The sewage was all over the place. People going to toilet on themselves. Electric gone. Food and water running out. Medications running out. That guy who didn’t respond to the emails and just wasn’t doing a good job. He should have just sent the choppers and made a decision. He would have been a hero sending them early. What was the weather reporting like then compared to now. Did we have satellite weather ?

I guess they asked for money but the corps and government was not giving any money. All services have been cut and less money over the years. Look at the state we are in now. People waiting 2 years for an operation.
