A special announcement for our listeners!
These are sadly gone... :( I was just about to buy another one. lol.
Look what happened in Covid. Very questionable decisions and outcomes every which way you look at it.
I guess they asked for money but the corps and government was not giving any money. All services have been cut and less money over the years. Look at the state we are in now. People waiting 2 years for an operation.
Two hospitals in the same building with different staff and no one at the corporations answering the phone. That guy on holiday man. Made me angry. The excess heat.
That manual was provided by the persons who own the hospital. The incident person would have only followed what was inside. That woman didn’t write it. You can’t have the generator up high because they are noisy as hell and dirty. The staff didn’t sleep for 5 days 24 hours. The sewage was all over the place. People going to toilet on themselves. Electric gone. Food and water running out. Medications running out. That guy who didn’t respond to the emails and just wasn’t doing a good job. He should have just sent the choppers and made a decision. He would have been a hero sending them early. What was the weather reporting like then compared to now. Did we have satellite weather ?
I honestly believe that hospital was blessed because the pope came there.
You said too much without even saying much. This was before social media. Also the next big crisis after the world trade centres. Didn’t the government learn from 911. It was a hand of god moment. 911 wasn’t. How many people died in the whole town. I’m honestly surprised that there were only 45 deaths in that hospital. They were actually ventilating by hand. Could you do that for 24 hours. Non stop to keep someone breathing.
You can’t look at it like a house. Your house doesn’t have 2000 people in it with some only living on electrical equipment.
I’d be interested to know if people’s houses had flood insurance in their policy.
Why do you honestly think flooding was left out of the manual and why the levees weren’t supported even more than they were or made higher knowing the storms are getting worse.
Bush just flew over and looked out the window of the plane. ✈️. How awful. Lack of money spent on the hospital. I mean what if that helipad and stair well collapsed. It would have been worse.
I blame the owners of the hospital, the government, president, all the emergency people. How could you just leave people to fend for themselves with no help. They asked for help many times and were just left. Absolutely terrible.

Dwight does too much sometimes. But it's clear that none of them listen to safety tips.
Just bought the Big Surprise! Hopefully it is awesome!

What did you think?
@@disasterclasspodcast LOVED IT!
show us the part where you go down from the top floor and you need to open the bottom ladder half way.......right!
Love the "raw" episode. Everyone needs a mystery box, get yours today! Looking forward to what the rest of 2024 brings for Instinct Ready and Disaster Class.
I went out and bought LifeVacs for my family as soon as I watched this!
Series was great. And thanks for preaching HAVE A PLAN TOGETHER! I don’t live in a hurricane prone area, but we do have severe storms and tornadoes. One about hit my house in 2022, and warning time is better than before, but in the moment we do freeze. we always had a plan together should the worst happen, and now that im older and my neighbors are from Cuba and didn’t understand what to do, we have a plan for me and for them to use my basement
Thank you so much for the feedback! And kudos for looking out for your neighbor too!
صحفة صحلب مشخشخة
The funniest part is that they have like 3-4 fire extinguishers and no one went for one. Also no one pulled an alarm or used their cell phones
Great giveaway!!! 👍# 1 Stay well, Joe Z
Yes - we live 3 miles from Sandy Hook Elementary. Since that day in 2012 there has been a police officer with a marked police car assigned to the entrance at each school in our town. Worth every penny
Congrats on the sponsor! Safer Escape is a great product that every family in a multi level home needs.
3:13 - 7:20 You're welcome
This entire opening scene shows how ill prepared The Office is ready for a fire.
That loud music at the start is so annoying. It made me want to stop the video Way too loud
LITERALLY the only and funniest thing I've seen from this show💀💀 I saw randomly started with this episode and i was IN TEARS and after that I never got into it 🤷🏾♀️
You are very special and unique. Soon you will receive a medal for being such an interesting person. Congrats.
I hope you will do The Office clips you mentioned
Absolutely we will! Is there a particular one you want to see first?
In terms of safety issues I think the most important except the fire one you've already made would be those you have mentioned at the end of your previous Office episode which were Michael as a survivor and RCP with staying alive :)
And then Stanley had a heart attack lmao
Glad to have Disaster Class and the two of you back "on the air"! Great things to come, can't wait for everything to come through.
We are happy to be back! Thanks for the support!
Wesley is probably a Darryl because he's witty and relaxed, and Jason a David Wallace kind of guy. 😄
😂 We can rock with that!
Awesome - love you guys.
Practically, everyone ran past a fire extinguisher, AND the alarm. Jim literally chose to use the copier as a battering ram without realizing there was an extinguisher right next to him. That's that sharpened decision making via fear and adrenaline. 😂😂
I think my parents teaching fire safety hard growing up helped, as well as my parents work in local gov so I went to a lot of EMS, fire department, police cookouts & was a curious kid so asked a LOT of questions & respected them so I listened. As well as the fire department coming into school & doing demonstrations, a wall with a window, your behind it & they pump in smoke & then you have to get low, unlock the window & get out. great to have real practice. My instinct in this is fire alarm, grab a fire extinguisher, call 911 & tell somebody else I trust to also grab a fire extinguisher & kick down a door, easier than ppl think
3:46 PowerPoint is boring
Dwight is deeply psychologically disturbed and should either get help or be locked up before he hurts someone or kills everyone.
Rates below the WKRP Turkey drop episode. But I do appreciate the lesson that is trying to be taught here.
Two boring dudes have a dull conversation about TheOffice.
Angela just runs past the fire extinguisher haha
Michael bouncing the chair off the window to break it is the funniest part to me.
what you are saying around 12 minutes about it being an exercise vs. the real thing reminds me of what happens on nuclear subs, with missile drills and their 'drill' launch codes vs. the real ones. it'd be way scary in that situation if the sailors didn't even know whether it was real.
Still the funniest cold open ever, B99 I want it that way is a close second.
OK ! We are trapped ! EVERYONE FOR HIMSELF ! XD
Funniest episode of The Office and of all time. LMAO
not a good fit for areas with snow and ice! last thing you would want to find out is the latter is frozen!!!
"Every person is their own emergency manager, because they are managing their own emergencies." That is a huge statement highlighting that we need to be prepared for ourselves and not relying on others to take care of us. Great points for all of us as neighbors.
Thank you Jason and Wesley for talking about this! It's a TOUGH TOPIC but so relevant. I am interested in the class.
All the doorhandles, except maybe one were heated up right so what should’ve they done?
I just got to S5E13 and I had to pause after the scene ended; I couldn't breathe because I was laughing so hard. I probably woke up the neighbors. Bandit falling through the roof is living rent-free in my head.
Bandit? Wasnt it Oscar?
